Hi Tigz
Glad to see you are still around, sorry about the tonsilitus - thats horrible. Good news about the new job though, hopefully that should make up for the loss on the 10p tax. Makes you wonder if old Gordon had actually done his sums before bringing that one in!!
Hi Sammy..... fab to hear from you - how's things?
New job will be good, although less hours, it's closer to home, I'm even going to try and cycle!!!"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

I paid £20 to debt man last night...not enough I know but I'm not too worried at the moment, I know I need to clear it but I don't pay any interest so there is no rush other than my quest to be debt free. I just don't have much spare at the moment.
I'd applied for AQA but the questions came through today, I must be really thick as I can't seem to answer them...."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

I've tried that but still none the wiser!!!! lol
Have spent £5.27 on 4 ice-creams and 2 bottles of fabric conditioner, then £14 on some Doodles sandles for DD, but I'll take that out of her account.
Work 2moro, so fingers crossed I can keep it low.
Almost forgot, I changed to E'on from npower a while back and just had the final bill in from npower = £234.68  guess was wrong time of year to change suppliers!! Will offer them a monthly amount as I don't have that avail.... so guess this is another debt??? Argh!!!
I've got a lot to pay out this month, it's OH's birthday on the 24th, I've already bought him GTA iv which was £40, we're on hols on the 19th, plus we've got a christening and a 2nd birthday to go to when we get back. Oh and also OH's sister's birthday, but he'll go halves on anything we get for her.
Oh and a meal out for OH's birthday..... hmmmmm.
Plus side is I've managed to save £197 for all of the above. This has been ebay sales (£24) quidco (£20) no nursery on BH (£37) re-imbursement for my windscreen wiper being ripped off in car wash (£55) it cost me £20 at BIL's garage but should've cost £55. £30 from £2 coins, and £30 from my Mum. I'm impressed with myself..... it will be interesting to see how much OH contributes!!!  "Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Woohoo, just checked my ebay and I've 2 items left, 1 of them, a CD is upto £6.... yippee!! The other item, a pair of walking boots (rrp £40) is only upto £1.04 at the moment, I hope they increase..... I wouldn't be happy if they went for that small amount. Auction ends on Sunday.
DFW news, I bought in my own lunch today, tuna & pasta that I made last night, but I'm having an eyebrow wax at lunchtime which will cost £8  BUT it's my treat to myself."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

I've said I'd list OH's mobile on eBay.... I'm just worried in case I do it wrong...
I was VERY naughty earlier, I had a magnum ice-cream, cost £1.50. But it was worth every penny.
We're going to do a BBQ 2moro, just us, so need to get some burgers etc in the morning.
No increase on eBay items.... no more looking now til Sunday."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Another lovely day beckons here. I've already done 2 lots of washing.
Shopping this morning for some BBQ stuff, only OH and I so will be cheap.
Have listed his mobile phone on eBay and also our old pushchair, fingers crossed they both sell, more money for our holiday.
Of course whilst I was there I checked my other 2 items, no change.... hope the boots sell for more than £1.04....
I read Emily's make money from nothing last night, really tempted to try it, will have a think today about how I can raise the 1st £1.
Have a good day everyone xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Woohooo the boots are upto £5.50 at the moment... ok I know I said I wouldn't look until Sunday but I listed 3 vouchers on there so I had to check! lol"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Boots sold for £10.04 rrp is £39.99 so they've got themselves a bargain!! CD went for £12.50, can't complain at that, that was a gift.
I've got 4 more items on there but they're freebie vouchers, but they do often sell well. Running out of things to sell now!
It's another lovely day here today, we're off to Paultons Park as both OH and I are season ticket holders so a NSD other than an ice-cream each."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Hey Tigz,
Keep it up - you're doing great! And I love seeing the little bits you make here and there. Just shows how it all adds up.
Pennies make pounds.
I have to say that at the moment I enjoy selling things more than buying! Currently selling my clarinet (not played in 10 years) and a couple of other items. I just keep finding more stuff to sell and I don't quite know where it comes from. LOL.
Mr OneDay took me Skye for our wedding anniversary this weekend. It was absolutely beautiful and I love it when he treats me like thatPennies make pounds.
