Thanks Snaggles.... but looks like our plans are going out the window. My friend is stuck on the M27 as they've closed it. Arggghhhhh!
She's stuck in a boiling hot car, no air con, a toddler and a 5 month old baby who is due a feed...... poor thing!! x

Yes sadly, a young woman's body. Very tragic. She was near a bridge I believe, which is just up the road from here so I'm guessing she either jumped or was pushed. Whichever, it's very sad.
My friend made it through eventually, she said she almost pulled over onto hard shoulder to breast feed her baby!! lol"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

God what a nightmare, I get stressed if my little one starts to need a feed in the middle of the supermarket - I had to feed her in Asda car park yesterday lol!
Did you get your picnic in the end?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Yes we did thanks. Was lovely. We met in hosp whilst having our DD's, so they are 1 day apart. Was so cute watching them run around together.
Was a gorgeous w/end here and now this morning it's overcast. Ah well, off to work I go!! lol"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

HSBC haven't responded to my 2nd letter I sent re claiming back my charges. So do I issue court papers at a cost of £80 and hope they'll refund or not?
Need to have a think on this... incl interest I'm due back £946 which is a lot of money. Thing is, I owe HSBC money so not sure how I stand with claiming back the charges.
Hi Tigz - had a busy weekend, in laws down and was running around tidying up, feeding the troops etc.
Hope you enjoyed your picnic, I went for a walk and burnt my shoulders and nose (and my newly freed of glasses eyes:o ).
You should of course take HSBC to court. Don't be afraid, I took Abbey to court for over £4,500! You can apply for help with the court charges too if you are on some kinds of benefits but I am not sure what they are!

Hi Sammy,
Had a lovely w/end thanks.
I'll look into the court fee, I get WTC & CTC and have low annual income so think I'm exempt, not sure.
Your w/end has exhausted me just reading about it. But mine was just as busy.

Well today is the day that the 8 weeks are up from the date of my original letter to HSBC.
I shall await a letter from them shortly.
Not much else happening in my world, we have the Queen visiting Romsey today which is where I work, there are people waiting already to see her.
My DD has an ear infection so is off nursery today as they won't take her unless she's had antibiotics for 24hrs, luckily my Mum is off today so I can work.
BF is away until Sunday, he went yesterday. He's gone to Luxemburg for his work's annual football tournament.
Nothing much planned for w/end, if DD ok will meet up with BF's sister and her 2 boys.
Brought my packed lunch into work. Hoping for a NSD but need to get some calpol for DD.
My savings account is looking sad, just had to withdraw £150 for my car to get serviced and cambelt changed, but at least I have the money there to do it. My ISA is looking fab, over £400 :T It's a good feeling having savings.
DD's savings account is looking good too, £459.81 :T :T it was £40.21 at 23.04.07 so really pleased with that. £100 of it though is from her premium bonds win.
So.... I'm still plodding on. Oh... forgot DCA was coming on Monday and I didn't have any money on me, so will pay double next time!!
If anyone reads this - have a lovely w/end and hope the sun is shining for you xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Hi Tig, we hope to have a good weekend up here this weekend, for a change. Going to the Botainical Gardens in Glasgow for picnic. I know a lad who works at Waitrose in Romsey, I say work, I think he's the store manager or something. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hi Lenny,
Picnic sounds lovely..... can't beat eating outside.
I'll pop round and say hi to your mate shall I? How do you know someone this far south?
Waitrose is a lovely shop but I avoid it as it's not very DFW!! :rotfl:

Just checked my ISA and it's currently £482.66 with £40 waiting to clear... so total £522.66  And I've still got 45 weeks worth of £40's left so another £1800 to go in.
Yippeeeeee!!! Sad thing is, if I didn't have debt this money could be used to buy a car or a nice holiday etc etc...."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
