Oh no! Its a pain when they can't got to nursery. Thankfully my childminder is really cool and the only time she didn't have chloe was when she had impetigo, which she kept getting.
Apart from that hows the job going? You still enjoying it. I had a mini strop at work yesterday and but for the fact that we have just bought a freelander (and I normally drive a cinquecento!) and I wouldn't have been able to reverse it with my dignity intact, I would have walked! Glad I didn't - posted on here and had a moan.. my post got moved to the employment board but oh well.
Then Chloe got up at 1.30 and I logged onto the employment board and found myself applying to be an SMS chat line operator,:rotfl: not sure i could do it, but I find myself trying to earn more and more bits of money to pay my debts off.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Hey Sammy...
I did read your post yesterday. I think I would've walked out!! How's it today?
My DD had a bad nite, not sure if the spots are itching her or not, will get her some piriton syrup today.
Work is ok, here today. Didn't have time to make my lunch today tho!
Tell me more about the SMS chatline thing..... sounds good!! BF and I use to often have "text sex" lol used to be good fun but not sure could do it with strangers but willing to try if means clearing debts!! :rotfl:"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." My boss apologised! He is not so bad really, I think I am really confused. I used to be in charge of a company (but lost my job whilst on maternity leave as they ran out of money and decided not to pay me) and staff and this was the first job I could get. He is supposed to be leaving and the management team buying him out and that carrot is being dangled in front of my eyes all the time.
the plus side of it is that it is regular and more often than not, not stressful at all. I have applied for other jobs so I will make a decision when I have got other options.
I can sympathise with the sleepless nights. Chloe who is 18 months old has spent the last few nights thrashing about and wailing in her sleep, she is impossible to comfort and the night before last she was awake from 1.30 am. She eventually went back to sleep at 5am, but by then I thought it best to stay up!!!!
OH went out last night to the pub and came in about midnight. Chloe had been wailing and thrashing since about 9am. He sat downstairs watching tv and drinking tea (deaf or what?) until I ran downstairs with her and said here you have her. He gave her calpol and she fell asleeP!!!!!! He now thinks he is a new man, while I just think she was knackered. :rotfl: :rotfl:
I will find the link for the chatlines and will pm you with it. I am not sure it pays that well, but you know every little helps.. I am not sure if I could do it, I have forgotten what sex is I am that knackered!!
PS think the piriton will be out for me tonight as well!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Ok - have finally got round to sorting out DD's savings account. At the most she had in her account was £1081, plus my Mum has been paying her £10pm so since that time of this balance there has been another £110 from Mum, so most she'd have had is £1191.
She has in there at the moment £40.21
This money has gone on helping out BF (DD's Dad..) and me. £350 went on my car to get the Air Con fixed. I'm not planning on paying this amount back as is for her benefit..... :rotfl: well £500 I got for my sure start went into her account, plus my 1st weeks tax credits when she was born as I was still receiving my FT wage, so I'm not counting that money... so in theory I don't owe her all that back, IYKWIM?
I'd like to get her balance back to around £1000 over the next year, so she has a decent amount of interest coming in. DD's Dad will be paying back £140 he owes this week, plus I have some going in for her, (£29.50 in 50p's and £1 coins as I save them for her, £25.49 from my acc and a chq from royal mail for £10.55 - £65.54) this is how it looks so far...
Balance = £ 40.21
From BF = £140.00
From me = £ 65.54
New Balance = £245.75
So I'm going to pay the CB - £18 each week into her account until it starts looking healthier.
I know I should throw it all at my debt, but I want this cushion for her. Plus the money that is in her account can be used to buy her things she needs rather than from my money.
I feel bad most of her money has gone, not that she needs it yet. This is something I feel I have to do."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

I hope your little one is feeling better Tigz, chicken pox is horrible - mine had it after visiting a farm and looking at the new born...yep, you guessed it....chicks. I have no idea if chicken pox really comes from chickens, but to this day, he's really wary of them in case they make him ill again!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hey tigz - thanks for the joke btw. Made me laugh for the first time in ages.
Re DDs money, we all have to make our own choices and if this is what feels right, then you don't need to justify it for us or to yourselfAs long as your debt is still going down at a speed that you are comfortable with - then in DFW terms, that is what matters. And DD will appreciate it when she gets older. Hope she is feeling a bit better.
Take care!Pennies make pounds.

I'm not sure about the chicken thing.... I'm guessing it probably doesn't really come from chickens and it was all just a coincidence, but DS wont believe me, no matter what I say lol!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

:rotfl: I don't blame him really.... not a nice thing to experience. My Dad hasn't had it and has been in contact with DD...eek. I'm glad she's had it now."Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Tigz, did you get a childthingy voucher for £250. Sorry just being nosey, where did you put it. Is it possible that you put the money you have saved up for your DD in the same account, as I don't think you can touch it then. The only reason my DD has any money left is because I can't touch it!
While I am here, I need a kick up the !!!!. I have some work which is a potential earner. £35 per hour. Its quite involved spreadsheet work and I have done everything up till now to put off finishing it. I have done the lions share and I have a meeting with the guys who commissioned the work on thursday.
BUT!!! I can't seem to get motivated to finish it. I don't know why. Can you nag me till Wednesday night. If I thought I had someone watching over my shoulder it would really help.
Thanks In advance TigzQuality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
