Hello all :j
Hardly dare look in its been such a long time but what with my back probs and OH's on going re-admittance to hospital during last year craft stuff was the last thing on my mind and I hardly did anything.
Things still not settled with OH really........he still gets severe stomach pains and now the Pain Clinic have given him yet another pill to add to the rest........this one won't work for at least 6-8 weeks and if it doesn;t then he'll have to have injection.
I ended up putting a complain into the hospital.......sent it last September and should get the reply on Monday I'm told. OH been told there's nothing they can do for him, his insides are so inflamed due to the operations he's had so we're both not too happy about it all. But on the plus side, 8 days of OH in intensive care made us realise that life's too short so the money mum left us is being put to good use..............so far new kitchen and raised beds in the garden so I can get round them ok, downstairs loo and a wet room upstairs (courtesy of the council that was). Things seem a bit more settled so I've set to and got on with cutting up last years xmas cards and re-cycling them in my funny 'home made card' fashion. Gives me something to do as I'm not as mobile as I was.
rainmac - do hope your nan gets sorted out ok
rusty - I remember your back problems oh so well.
When you were discharged from the hospital you should have had a discharge sheet with the name of your consultant on it. He's the chap you need to see and do is s.a.p. I swear GP's (and hospitals come to that) can't wait to shove yet another pill down our throats without finding out the actual cause. Good luck
Not had time to look at all your blogs -I'm sure you've all done some brilliant stuff as always.
I'll pop in from time to time to see how you all are
Sorry its been so long:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Morning ladies
Someone on here linked an easel card tutorial for me a little while ago (I think it was dragonllew but I'm not 100% sure) I didn't bookmark it, could you post it again?
One of the blogs I follow has a challenge involving circles and I'd love to try my first round easel card, but can't figure out how they work0 -
FF here's some inspiration from Split Coast Stampers, there may even be a tutorial on here.
Just posted a pic on the glob of the remnants of my first cake with Kitty the mixer. Sadly, not enough left after OH had attacked it for me to dive into.
Mary hope things get better soonest with OH. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
