Rusty I would Love you to make my cards (horrid things) but it is for my Dad and OH so would feel guilty if I didn't make them, it's not the cards really it's the fact I have no suitable images have finished one off. Don't feel bad about turning 30 believe me I am turning forty this year  I swear I am still twenty in my mind
It's freezing here, bit disappointed none of my orders have arrived was hoping to have a play, going to finish some cards and try and comment on blobs0 -
Thanks for the sniggers - I struggled up the stairs to bed and took ages to get comfy then when I woke up yesterday morning just a vague ache - how does that work?????
Deffo my pride and the washing machine suffered more than I did - it would have been seriously hilarious if it had been anyone else :rotfl:

Hi Everyone!
Long time no post, glad to see so many of the "old" names still posting, how are you all?
I've been around, but just not been posting much as I've been busy working and my Mum died just before Xmas, so not had much time to do any card making.
However, I've been asked to make some wedding stationery and the lovely lady would like an elephant on them - I know it's a bit of a long shot, but I don't suppose anyone has got an elephant punch they no longer use?
Sal

Very long time, no see. I was cleaning out my stash and thought of you all. If there are any newbies out there just starting who would like some free papers, can you please pm me your address and I will pass them on. I haven't been doing much papercraft recently but hope to get back into it this year. However, I did finish my painting marathon and drumroll.... can say that I have single-handedly painted the house (inside) from top-to-bottom.
I hope everyone is keeping well and managing to ride-out these difficult times. We are all okay, had a couple of scares with redundancies at hubby's work but the company seems to be hanging on by its fingernails using recruitment freezes, pay cuts/freezes and natural wastage. Dd is now doing AS levels. Ds and I are still pottering along on DLA and Carer's Allowance. He was receiving an hour a week support from the local Autism Centre (that I fought so hard to get him into) but this was stopped early last year due to financial cut-backs (c'est la vie).
I have to send a huge thankyou to OAP1945. This lovely lady sent me a birthday card at the end of November and I haven't even said thanks, how bad is that (it has however been on my to-do list since then).
I hope to join in with the thread a lot more this year. Love to all, Thriftyxxx
