Afternoon ladies, hope you are all well, sorry long time no visit- I know you are in a bit of pain rusty but hoping you are better soon.

Trying to catch up, like I think it was Louise - I have a bit of a hate relationship with my promarkers at the mo - hoping its just a phase. Flourgirl - I'll join you on that everything ban we've booked a holiday as well - so another one working extra to pay for it - but got lots to use and making good use of freebie images - lol. Also entering challenges on the hope of winning something.

Rainmac - enjoy your new car.

Is the challenge still on about using something that you wanted and then never used??? If so I've just blogged my hubbys valentines card that had a sizzix die that I NEEDED think I tried it out when I bought it and then it went in the cupboard:o. If thats not the challenge ignore that comment :rotfl:.

Right off for a slice of that cake and a cuppa xx

Rusty I echo what everyone says go back to the GP ad ask to be referred

CraftyLouise I get depressed when I weigh myself so I don't bother very much anymore ;)

VeeBee1 have you read the other five threads, there's lots of ideas in those, also click on our names and visit our 'home page', these are links to our blog where we go into a lot more detail about the cards we make. Have you joined Split Coast Stampers, this site has some amazing cards and tips and tricks, it's free to join. Also there is UK Scrappers here which is free to join too.

What kind of cards are you looking to make, what colours do you like, patterns, styles etc??? If you can let us know we would all be happy to help out. Do you watch Create and Craft TV? Did you know that lots of internet craft shops have a challenge blog where you can check out the latest ideas, have a look at their gallery. Here's one Lily of the Valley have stamps as well as pre-printed squares (which I like to use).

Sorry if we appear to just make idle chit-chat but we are concerned about each other and hope you'll join us too.

I see by your previous posts that you have your own internet card making business already, perhaps you'll let us know how we can help?

    Hey ladies :)

Thank you for the lovely new place to chat savvy xxx

Rusty, I am so so sorry you are in pain :(. I too would go back to the GP and ask/demand to be referred. I think you should have been offered this already considering your history  xxx

Wifey, I am so jealous of your new toy. I would love one xxx

My day has been carp, work was in parts a nightmare - I still love my job but today has been so hard, my car delivery has been postponed till tomorrow but on the upside my nan has finally been 'rehomed' to a nursing home. She doesn't have much of a clue (if any) about what is going on but she is in the right place to get the right care. She has been released from hospital with awful bed sores :(, my mum is so upset and angry.

I haven't made any cards this week but started the week with ideas and such good intentions to get ahead :o Those gorgeous owl stamps are still calling to me but I have managed to resist so far...;)

Big hugs for your nan, rainmac. Hopefully she will feel better soon and I hope the new home is a nice one and she gets plenty of TLC. More hugs for not getting your car today, so disappointing.

Off to find the recipe for Annie's Cake over on CP, I can't remember how I made it before.

Wifey please don't post any more pics of really useless gadgets LOL!

I second what everyone else has says Rusty - change practises.

AliB - challenge is running till midnight tomorrow so have added you to the list - I think I have that die but have never layered them together DOH!

Rainmac - you didn't really want your car today it rained here and would have got dirty.

I went to pick my car up from the garage was walking along the A1077 (yep main road) decided to cross but the road level is about a foot above the path so there is a kind of slopey thing down onto it. Was then thinking must be careful coz it might be slippery and next thing I knew had slipped down onto my bum in a muddy puddle looking straight up in the air :rotfl::rotfl:

Some very kind man stopped to see if I was ok and he didn't even laugh bless him - I would have been wetting myself if I'd seen it - said no and sprung up and wandered off to the garage covered in mud ;) I do seem to have twisted my ankle though but it will have to be fine in the morning coz I need to go to Asda :p
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
