Evening everyone, freezing here in Glasgow...we have had snow on and off all day...not as bad as the rellies up north under 5 inches of snow

Have gave my crafty room a tidy and finally cleared my desk, I should do it more often as I always find stash I forgot about and it gives me room to put away the stuff that Mr Postie brought and that fell into my basket in the craft shop :)

Off to update my bloggy, haven't done it for a couple of weeks :-/

Aw! Snap, dragonllew, I bought my first sort of core'dinations card there and other stuff that I'm sure I never used

Seven birthdays this month and thank goodness for Kanban kits, not feeling like creating anything, no:1 son not too good again so just licking and sticking with ribbon and feathers thrown in the mix.

I've never been to Cromer - Hope you have a lovely time there rainmac. Hope you enjoy your 'night off' & your lie in - what book is it? Is it good?

Wifey - I didn't spend at LOTV as the one I wanted was out of stock :( but got a couple of things from crafty sellers on FB instead. I'm sorry your son is not well - I hope your crafting will be a useful distraction for you and he gets better soon.

Liza & Carolnmalky - Please keep your snow up there - it's blowing a hoolie here and freezing cold that's bad enough!

Rainmac Sorry it was starting to snow in Birmingham when I left work this morning .... it's coming to get you :p the weather forecast gets better from Friday onwards according to the met office thingy we get at work

Dragonllew Thanks I have downloaded that link, if I ever get to understand this stoopid IMac I may very well learn how to use it :D

Marg When you get time could you pretty please resend me the birthday list, I faithfully promise to file it on the computer (the one at work which I understand not the one at home which I don't understand :p) you can send me to the naughty step if I ask you again!

We have around two inches of snow here and it's still snowing, all those seeds and things I have sown in my garden will all probably die now  At least some seedlings are indoors

If Cromer is anything like here today will be freezing with the wind blowing off the sea brrrrrrr. I used to go every summer for a wander round and nosey on the pier or to Sheringham - love it there!

Now we go to Whitby as Norfolk is a bit far :c)

Nasty horrible day here - I'd promised DD I'd take her out as we'd been in for the last 2 days wish I'd kept me mouth shut :rotfl: She's happily chipping the ice out the freezer at the mo :)

Wonder if my Radley dog type fabric will turn up today :D..............

I have been to Cromer before as my mum is from Norfolk we used to have holidays all along the Norfolk coast when I was little. We are staying at a guest house on the seafront and I just hope they have the heating on. Will have to check out Jarrolds if time allows ;)

Big hugs to you and your son Wifey xxx

Padster, lol at you getting your dd to de-ice the freezer :p

I have cleaned all my kitchen cupboard fronts, sides, plinths etc today and cleaned out the cutlery drawer, no idea when I last did that :o Also sorted all bits of loose paper, to do lists etc I had around the house and everything is in the diary. Feel a tad more organised. Oven and fridge on the agenda for tomorrow. Off to my mum and dad's in a bit for a cuppa, a natter and to pick up the monkeys x

Hi all, hope you are enjoying this lovely spring weather...NOT!!!.. Its brightened up a bit here but this morning it was wicked -1* I must have been mad to go out in it.

Rainmac enjoy your break in Cromer, its a few years since we were there. You can come and clean my oven too if you like, I hate doing it.

Flyin_Fresian well done on your fantastic weight loss, I joined WW again last week and I've lost 2.5lb this week so dead chuffed. Last time I went I managed to loose 70.5lb thank goodness I only have 19lb to loose this time, hope to be back at goal for September.

Mumoftwo Good to see you back posting and crafting again. I bought my watermark and blog signature from Whimsey Stamps, I'm not much good with the techie stuff.

Not made anything since I came back from Devon, lacking motivation at the moment. I did win a couple of challenges before I went and have some new digi stamps to play with plus I treated myself to a new XCut guillotine as my old one (about 8years old) had stopped cutting cleanly.

Family for tea tonight so Ive made a big cottage pie, mines been weighed and counted :-( loads of veg to fill up though and a chocolate bar for later :-)

**waves** I now have a nice clean ice free freezer :)

I also have a clean cutlery drawer (must be catching), baking tray drawer and pan drawer :p They were minging.

We should hopefully be moving in 3 weeks  still waiting for some paperwork to be finalised and if our estate agent rings me again telling me that our solicitor isn't doing anything I shall get said solicitor to pay them in 5p pieces :rotfl::rotfl: wouldn't mind so much but even the buyers solicitors have told them that what we're waiting for can take a little time to sort out.

Good luck with ww flourgirl and well done flyin although I think sicky bugs may be classed as cheating :o Hope you're feeling a bit better!

I have some really lovely pink and black scottie dog fabric looking at me - must get my sewing machine out tomorrow as DD and I are doing a table top sale Saturday week am hoping to shift the Body shop gift sets that my mother gets me every year ;)

Rainmac, have a lovely time and I'll be thinking of you enjoying a full English breakfast cooked for you and no washing up either. :DHope you all have a great weekend.

It'll be a quiet weekend at Wifey Towers and looking forward to doing something different, I'm determined to have a go at some Steampunk. I've got a lesson booked with SIL at a craft shop a few miles away in a couple of weeks and Ally Pally next weekend. Yay! Will be saving my strength!

Padster hope all goes well with the move and don't forget to give your new addie to Marg to update us, Oh! There's a new challenge then????? ;)

Thanks for the tip about getting your watermark from Whimsy stamps Flourgirl, I had a look, might just do that. Only $5.

Is it hard to apply it to your photo's after you receive it from them? I have a card making facebook page, not a card blog as such, wonder if I should include that or just my name? Decisions, decisions.
I made a lovely, sweetly card last night, with my new Candi, never worked with them before, they are really cute little round shapes aren't they? I can see them becoming my new favourite little gems..
Have a nice day everyone, I have a lot of housework to do and a family trip to the dentist. I hate it when life gets in the way of crafting,;)
