Ordered a book from Amazon with lots of different ideas in it. It doesn't give much detail on each technique but gives me more of a clue what to search for on youtube :)

Hi everyone , seeing as Mad-Frog asked so nicely for the oldies to say hi I thought I'd respond :). I was just on the tax board (oh, I do have trouble with HMRC :() and thought I'd pop along and see what's happening.

I made very few cards last year so hadn't really got anything I could contribute to the thread. I did get around to making just a few Christmas cards and will get around to blogging them at some time.

I've got two 40th birthdays coming up, d-i-l first later this month, then son in April. As I'm hopeless at men's cards I might cheat and buy a card for my son but will put my thinking cap on for my d-i-l.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and new year.

Another oldie here popping by to say Hello. I hope you all have a very Happy Crafty 2013 xx.

I actually made 2 cards today...yay!!! My shoulder is getting better, after a year of agony, and I felt like having a go at some cards for the birthdays on my calendar for this month. Not blobbed yet. I ordered some stash too from ebay... ATG tape (10rolls) and some Hi-tac glue as mine had set in the tube! both essential :-)

It feels like ages since I made anything, life just seems to have got in the way plus I'm working full time 3 days now, it helps hubby's pension stretch to holidays :-)

    Are there any challenges going?

    Karen xx

  • One of my faves, printable heaven, has started DVDs full of copyright free art and book images. I've got a fine art dvd with over 500 famous pictures and will buy some more as only £10 each. You can do what you like with the pictures as they are old and in the public domain.
