Well I spoke too soon when I boasted my first card make of 2013,
I've been mooching about the house for the past 3 days, snow outside:snow_laug
Should be crafting but someone's pinched my mojo:(
any suggestions ? I printed some digis yesterday intending to get the promarkers out,but ended up playing mahjong and angry birds on my kindle !!
Very unproductive:mad:0 -
When I am lacking inspiration I ask someone, usually my daughter, to set me a challenge of sorts. So she will say to use something I haven't used before or try something new.
In saying all that she asked me to make a well done card as she left the house to day and I still haven't started!0 -
Hi everyone, hope the weather isn't too bad, we have had snow on and off for the last 2 days!

Wonderful to pop back in and see lovely posts from oldies, newbies and lurkers.
Thanks for the tips on the bargainous finds- I'll have to Pinterest or bookmark them until I come off my stash ban.
I've had a bit of a break from cards and have been doing some jewellry stuff. However, I have now done my second card of the year with a gift card holder to match- male card which I find tough. Unfortunately I am now making my first sympathy cards- so tough to decide what to do.
Macma- when I lose my mojo I tend to mooch around the challenge blogs and try a couple of things I wouldn't usually try. Sketch, layout, colour combo or a new fold. Either that or I check out a new tutorial or Create and Craft to try and kickstart me.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
just finished two birthday cards - colleagues/friends at work - ever so pleased with myself.
2013 plans - included around 4 hours of crafting over the week, which with full teaching timetable, family and the other events with family. it seems the right amount of time and a good way to ensure me time + saving a few pounds.
Can't wait to see the reactions from my friends, as they know how precious time is !0 -
I've just made my first card of the year. A bit cross with myself that it's taken so long, and I'm not 100% happy with it, but that might be down to not feeling 100%, but it needed doing as the friend it's for is having an operation tomorrow. Time for bed now I think!*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*

I'm sure you will find it helps you relax and when people know your time is precious the cards will be even more preciousI've just made my first card of the year. I hope the operation went well- I'm sure you'll get your mojo back. I bet this card looks great and more importantly will have been appreciated2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Hi!
Krista Smith will be giving a freebie away for 24 hours- a beautiful valentine digi here
Also to pay back all those that have helped me learn to make cards over here and to help the newbies I have written a guide to using sketches (for the newbies) with a summary of links for sketch challenges at the end which I hope will be useful for the not so newbies!
I would love to get some feedback from you all as if this is any use I have some others in the pipeline.
Thanks2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -

Thanks JellieFrom what I understand it went really well. She's home and was walking a few steps less than 24 hours after she came out of theatre.
