    You tube helps a lot. If you can resist buying I found create and craft tv helped when I started. They do demos and it helps you work out what things are called to help then search on you tube.

    hi everyone,hope you all had a great Christmas,not been crafting,but still been reading your posts ,no need for me to go on a stash ban as haven.t had anything new for a while,got to do a card for my DIL for the end of January ,she loves Bagpuss so I,ve got some decoupage and backing papers ,they were in a sale before Christmas.
    Wont really need to get anything,its about time I used up what is lurking around.

    having a good clear out of my craft stash and writing a list of what I need. has anyone got a die cutting machine. I have a big shot but thinking I need something to do different size alphabet and numbers any thoughts.

    plan to make more cards and possibly sell some going to try and make a JLS one for dd. then must start next years xmas cards going through old cards to make gift tags

  • Just had a lovely afternoon recycling all my Christmas cards into gift tags for next year. I too have a massive stash of craft stuff and this years resolution is to use up rather than buy any more.

    However I am really thrilled with the second hand Cricut machine that my husband bought me for a Christmas present.:D

    do they cut different alphabets in different sizes. thats the main thing im after great if it does more. i did think about a slice but not sure its really what im after are there different types

    its not something you can rush into i think to buy the alphabet for the big shot would be expensive and i would only have the one size

    have been sorting out all my papers tonight may take a while but needs to be done
