hope everyones ok, had a bit of a busy weekend, so not had chance to read back, will probably do that tomorrow. hugs to those that need them xx
Thanks. To be honest I'm not even noticing it till I get home. I wear thick moulded bras so maybe if I was wearing a thin lacy job I might find it more noticeablelove you lots like jelly tots0 -
Alizee congratulations she looks gorgeous.
Littlemoog that is an amazing cake. With regards to the bleeding I did last time and things were ok but would always suggest with bleeding to contact your midwife.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Littlemoog those cakes are amazing! You're very talented! I would definitely mention the bleeding to the midwife tomorrow. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, but it's better to get it checked out - one of my friends who had her baby recently had bleeding a couple of times, and it turned out she had placenta praevia, so they monitored her a bit more.
Thanks for posting Milliebob. A couple of friends came over this afternoon with their 5.5month old baby boy. I was out when they arrived and Moon had told them I was upset that I was having a boy and I wanted a girl. I didn't know he'd told them, and I didn't really want them to be told as they unfortunately lost a little boy a couple of years ago 2 weeks after he was born (complications with the birth), and I didn't want to upset them or appear ungrateful. I did wonder if he'd said anything, as the wife kept on about how easy it was to look after her LO and how affectionate he is, so I think she was trying to show me that having a boy wouldn't be so bad - I have to admit her little boy was quite cute, and didn't cry once when he was here - just gurgled and played peekaboo with his muslin over his face. I know I'll love my baby when he's here as he's my little boy, it's just I really had hoped to have the mother/daughter bond that I never really felt with my own mother, and I knew that Moon would be a great dad (which unfortunately mine wasn't to me) to a girl as I'd seen him with girls I'd babysat for with him . I think buying things for the baby, and having more of an idea of who I'm buying for now is helping too, as I'm quite excited now I've bought my bottles, sleeping bag and the base for our carseat, and I'm starting to envisage a baby boy in them. He'll probably look nothing like I'm picturing at all lol. I know that Moon was a very cute baby - I've seen the pictures.
rj I think I may have started to leak a bit at night. My nightie (I don't wear bras in bed) had a couple of spots near where my left nipple was when I woke up - I thought maybe I'd dribbled toothpaste when I'd cleaned my teeth the night before, but realised I'd not had it on then. Moon is obsessed with breastfeeding at the moment, so he was really excited! lolEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
I def gonna keep more of an eye on it now tht I know I'm doing it. Thank god for thick bras lollove you lots like jelly tots0

Lm, those cakes look fab. Re the bleeding, as others have said it can be common in pregnancy and is usually ok but it is better to get it checked out.
Kitten, I'm impressed you keep bees. Is it hard to do? Good luck for tomorrow btw.

SM, I think it definitely gets a bit easier once you know who your buying for. Like Emsbet said too if you can pick a name and refer to the baby as that I think it might help you bond. I know what it's like to want to build a type of family that you lacked as I've been the same I've not had the best mum and dad or stepdad either, but I'm exceptionally close to my grandparents having lived there and I do class them more as my parents and my mum and aunties all know this too.
I think the reason I feel like this is a girl and that I hope it's a girl this time is because with the last pregnancy we were convinced it was a boy and had a name and everything picked out so when I miscarried I always thought of it as losing my little boy. This pregnancy has been completely different from the start and I said to the OH the other day I would like a girl because then I have one of each, I'm not sure he really understood but he tries to. I'd also really like it to be a girl because my MIL passed away the day I found out I was pregnant and we said all along if it's a girl she will have MIL's name as a middle name. I'd like to think I carried a bit of my MIL into the future ITMS cos as horrible as some MIL's are mine was bloody well fantastic and I miss her loads.
On a slightly less soppy subject because I'm likely to make myself cry soon.
Does anyone have recommendations for pram and cot sheets and nice blankets? xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Matalan do good bedding and it's pretty cheap.
M&P sheets are lovely and wash great, so if you can get a £5 voucher or something which they also give away and then get them on 3for2 they're the same price as everywhere elseThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Evening all, just quickly popped on earlier to see if there was any baby news so just read back.
Alizee congrats again, she's so beautiful
Gotothec so sorry to hear about your friend, so young too. Big hugs to you.
Hannah good luck for the sweep, at least you know by this time next week you'll be having mummy cuddles.
LittleMoog that cake is amazing! Definitely need to go ahead with your business plan for the cake businessre:bleeding always better to be safe than sorry, especially if there's no logical reason for it IYSWIM
RJH thanks for asking that, mine are similar most ads. They never feel wet though and there's never any staining or anything. I just thought it was dry skin.
SM as other people have been so honest thought I'd also say about the sexing scan. I really wanted a girl and so did OH. We were kind of disappointed when they said it was a boy. I had all kinds of things I thought we could do all planned in my head, me and my princess. And we had a few beautiful names for her. I felt guilty at the time as he's a healthy little boy and we're so blessed with him. I'm glad we found out quite early (about 16-17 weeks) as now we've had time to embrace it. I was worried of we didn't find out then give birth to a boy then were both disappointed would be awful. now we're looking forward to him coming and getting used to "our boy" On the plus side my fav colour is blue so am loving buying everything blue
Emsbet hope you managed to avoid the footie. Incase I don't pop on in time, good luck for your scan tomorrowI know you're a bit nervous ((hugs))
I avoided the 20% off at Babies r us as we've got most of the biggish stuff and I knew I'd be tempted too much to buy pretty things!
Sorry if I missed anyone there. Hope everyone is well and had a good weekend.
Was nephew's 7th birthday so just been out to a Chinese restaurant and we are stuffed! Really sleepy now though. Went to car boot earlier, was quite late but nothing we needed so we were good. Nice morning for a stroll in the sun, but of course my hips haven't really recovered. Still time for feet up now
Hope everyone has a good nights sleep, and hips behave themselves:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j
