    Congratulations Alizee! She's beautiful.

I am feeling slightly sorry for myself today. My body is a wreck. I think I have the dreaded SPD but according to the midwife the physio won't see me until 28 weeks even if she refers me now (I'm 23 weeks). I can't sleep at night because of back pain and I've got awful pain in my groin/inner thigh area when I walk. Went swimming today, on midwife's recommendation and because I thought it would be nice to be in the water and be weightless for a while. I enjoyed the swimming but was still in pain afterwards and only just managed to hobble back to the car.

On a positive note DH and I went to Babies R Us yesterday and got a load of stuff with the 20% off, including a mattress for the cotbed which had 20% off already and then 20% again with the voucher. Bargain.

Emsbet on the subject of hayfever, my doctor told me it was fine to take either loratidine or cetirizine but when you start looking into it there's so much contradictory information that it's hard to know what to believe. I'm trying to manage without and seem to have been okay so far.

Congrats Alizee your daughter is beautiful :T

Sorry to hear you've joined the SPD club Elelyn :(I find a warm bath helps and I believe swimming can give relief too but I was warned not to do breast stroke as you can overextend your hips which will make it worse. As that's the only swimming stroke I can comfortably do for more than a length I haven't been swimming. Try to keep your knees and hips parallel when you get in to the car, get out of a seat or turn over in bed. My physio constantly reminds me to clench before standing up too!

Glad to hear you got your car seat base SM :)

Good luck with your sweep tomorrow Hannah27 hopefully third time lucky *fingers crossed*

Yikes, I did loads of breaststroke today (it's the only stroke I can do too). Thanks for the advice Cheetara, I'll bear it in mind.

Congratulations Alizee! She's beautiful, givin me a case of baby girl envy :)

Sexymouse I hope you're feeling better about having a boy, my OH is struggling with it as he had his heart set on a girl, but I thin he's slowly coming around. I didn't want to admit I was a little disappointed too, but just wanted to let you know we're in exactly the same boat (I'm due 24th Sept).

On a funnier note, my Labrador is majorly sulking with me, I think she's realised she's not going to be my No 1 baby any more! Or it could be that I keep forgetting to feed her!

Bit of a tmi post girls but wondering if any of u have experienced same thing. My nipples when I take my bra off at night look a bit crusty and if u pick them a bit lumps just come out. Like wee yellow balls. Am I leaking during the day and just not realizing?

    Evening ladies :)
Alizee, congratulations! She's so gorgeous. Hope you're all settling in ok at home :)

We're back from our friends' wedding, it was an amazing day. Perfect weather, bride looked stunning and everything went to plan :D I love a good wedding! Plus my cakes came out really well, just to boast a teeny bit, here's a piccy!

Had a bit of a scare on Friday night, went to the loo about 3am and I had bright red spotting. :( Tailed off to very light brown spotting during the day, still have a tiny bit of brown spotting today. Not sure whether to ring the midwife tomorrow, it was never heavy enough to need a pad/liner, just when I wiped. I didn't take my green notes with me and hadn't put the midwife's number in my phone so I couldn't ring yesterday. Anyone else experienced this? I'm 13+5 today

Gothec sorry for your friends hope you are ok.

Feel for everyone with hayfever however being a beekeeper I am happy when there are reports of high pollen count. Especially after the winter we have had.

Bees swarmed again today grrr so hoping now it has all been sorted and we can start giving them more space for the honey we want to steal. It is going to be hard remembering not to give Ladyboyd honey when she arrives :D

Decided to order our cotbed from Babies r Us with the 20% off but the one we want plus the bedding etc (it's all in the deal for £199.99) is out of stock, so can't order it.

After much procrastinating last night OH decided he was going to order it. However we found that it wasn't in stock :( Same one with the jungle theme. Hopefully another offer will come before LO is here. The £199 offer is until February 2013 so just need to hope for another 20% off offer before September.

Not the same but I stick to my arm or OH's back at night, so think I am leaking when asleep. It sounds like you might be leaking. It is perfectly normal and many women do even earlier in pregnancy. You will still make enough colostrum when LO arrives.
