Mamas and papas - request the catalogue through the post and get a £5 voucher to spend instore or online - must be used in 30days... only one can be accepted with a purchase though but might be worth ordering a couple if your planning on shopping in M&P quite a bit?? (have to use different emails obviously but you and hub and family could request catalogues for you)

Also if you enquire in the shop, once they know your child's due date or birthday, they will send you a 5 pound voucher on that date every year.

Just back from 36 week check and everything great. Hospital dont do tens rental so will buy one and resell i think. Just scoffed a chicken chow mein and prawn crackers.:o

Hello, just checking I'm still on this list! Haven't really got time to read, too busy reading up on EC and other interesting things that I didn't have time to research last time. Ginvzt, noticed you are having travel difficulties, did you know you can get a free 'baby on board' badge? Just email this address and ask for one: babyonboard@tfl.gov.uk. Hope everyone else OK.

I am not in London, so it wouldn't work. But - thank you!

Sorry to hear you're having such a tough time Gin :( and the people on the train  I saw an elderly man the other day on the bus, deliberately moving to the outside seat on the bus when it got to our stop as there was a queue of people waiting to get on. If I couldn't have got a seat elsewhere I would have asked him to move.

Well my TENS arrived :j but the pains I was having have finally gone, thank God tbh, as I wasn't coping well with them at all. Not quite screaming the place down, but was concentrating very hard on my breathing. Gave my student midwife a phone, she said it does sound like false labour, but not to be too disheartened because it could mean that baby is thinking about moving. So PMA from me and keeping my fingers crossed.

We are also team yellow which I do love but well it would be nice sometimes to buy a little dress or dungarees I guess that can wait really.

I am team yellow too. Mine was 125 today and predict a boy.

    Hi All,

wondering if I can join in? I'm pregnant with my second baby, due on the 5th of June, so was 22 weeks on Tuesday.

Having a bit of a bad time with this pregnancy although the midwives don't seem to be that bothered. I've had three colds, three or four migraines resulting in being sick with the trots and now I've got just the trots on it's own but now had it since Monday! Don't get to see the midwife for another three weeks and feel totally fed up. It couldn't be any more different to my last pregnancy were I felt absolutely fabulous apart from morning sickness for a few months and then tiredness towards the end.

I'm now thinking about when to go on maternity leave and it's a hard decision to make, feeling the way I do now i'd go off tomorrow if I could!

Hi hon, welcome to the board. Sorry you are feeling poorly.

If it makes you feel better I had the !!!!!! a lot at the beginning and then had them and sickness for 4 days last week. The midwife checked me over and sent me to the docs as all was well antenatally.

Hope you start to feel better soon.

Gilly - I've just been catching up on the board from my last post about symptoms of my false labour signs last weekend, and I think it sounded a bit harsh, I didn't mean to sound like your symptoms were not real, just to say the could be practice ones like mine. Anyway as I'm good at digging a hole and making it worse, I will leave it there and hope no offence was caused.

I went for the ECV, spent. 90 minutes in the trace before hand trying to get a good reading, as the baby moved around itself without the aid of the doctor. It doesn't like to be touched so moves out of the way, so DH really did the ECV with the trace, my hero! Doctor was a bit surprised at the non medical movement, but I was very pleased to avoid the extra drugs. So I asked for a sweep, baby was obviously not yet engaged, and my cervix was closed but it was not too bad. So we went to the canteen for some lunch.

So after lunch I'm feeling pretty good, the odd twinge down below but nothing too bad, so we decided to pick up some cat biscuits and I have a little hobble around the shop, but I started to feel dizzy, after several pauses to the exit we pay and make our way out. DH goes to get the car while I lean against the wall. Next thing I remember is waking up on the floor being surrounded by people. People can be so kind and helpful. Baby seems fine and is still miving about. I've got a big graze all down one side of my face and on my knee and a bit of a sore head. Im going to have a cracking bruise! DH said let's not do the post birth photos or he will get arrested for battery or something. I must have put a hand our to stop my fall as I've broken all my nails on one hand, so I suppose I will have to cut them down, I think strong nails have been one of my few pregnancy positives, other than the eventual baby!

DH rang maternity but they just said it was probably lack of food and to come in if I feel dizzy again after some more food. So sweets, cheese toastie and lemonade for me, more ice pack and bed for me.

Gin, sorry you are having a tough time, hugs!

    Pregnancy - such fun!
