Catbag, I'm so sorry you lost one of your babies.

Is it unusual to have a second set of twins or are you more prone to having them if you've already had twins before?

You're certainly going to have a full house soon, lots of pairs of hands to help you though :)

Bless you, thank you. You're very kind :)

I've heard that the odds of any woman conceiving twins is something like 1 in 80, but those odds drop to 1 in 3 if they've had twins before. That only applies to fraternal twins, on account of id twins being genetic anomalies, as it were.

I'm certainly going to have lots of helpers, I just hope the girls don't try and be too helpful, if you know what I mean. My son's just hoping beyond all hope that they're not twin girls- the thought of having four younger sisters is making him panic a little!

Oh catbag, that is so sad, I'm so sorry for your loss.

My sister has been pg with twins twice, her eldest son was a twin but his brother/sister died quite early on. She was also pregnant with twins before she had her youngest son but miscarried.

LOL at your your 4yo being an evil genius ;)

The chances of having two sets of ID twins is something like 1:750,000 where as if you have Fraternal twins already the chances reduce to 1:3

    Welcome BCS

I'm suffering today following my shopping trip yesterday, tut tut. Back, legs, hips and pelvis all very sore and horrible swollen feet. Which can only really result in one thing - a day relaxing on the sofa eating yummy naughty food with my silent witness box set :D Although I'd quite like to paint the hallway and bathroom as well! :o

Have a good day all xx

    Thanks Triangle. :A

Take it easy today & put your feet up.

Welcome BCS and congrats on team blue :)
Hugs triangle for the pains, hope a few hours snuggled on the sofa will make them better
Sorry you didn't sleep well Cheetara this bladder business is carp. Did jokingly ask my boss for a catheter in the early days, she just laughed though!
Catbag I'm not sure if you've ever seen family guy? But I though of Stewie the baby who's always got an evil plan lol.
Emsbet when you go to ikea make sure the car boot is empty, couldn't take in how much lovely kids stuff there is there:) is baby back to moving lots today?
We went to a car boot this morning, OH fell back to sleep so was nearly 12 when we got there so not much there. I still had my banana ice lolly though. Then went to tesco where I got some cute mittens for 50p for bubba. Not much left in their baby sale which is probably for the best for my poor purse. Just watching baby stuff on tv whilst OH mows the lawn. There's talking of bacon butties, but he's ordered me to rest so I'm sat here with tummy rumbling
