Oh, prawns... Would love some now fried on the pan.. With garlic sounds great. I will eat prawns, as long as they have been cooked and hot!

I can taste aspartame, it tastes so bad to me, it has also been linked to depression. I think some people are just more sensitive to it than others.

Oh Gilly, I'm excited for you!

I've eaten like a pig today, roasties for breakfast, ms kicked in, the dominoes pizza and garlic bread, which is massively excessive for me. I think I'm wanting to store up food, ready for the next few days, nuts have been my friend for the last few days.

All this talk of food lol. But have nothing in i fancy. Thinking I may have to do the usual after my midwife appt tomorrow(noodles from the Chinese).

Then off to friends for fish and chips tomorrow night. May have to pop into pumpkin patch too,to see if there's any bargains.....

Had some really strong braxtons hicks and stitch at lunchtime, which panicked me slightly. Soon eased off once I rested with a glass of water....I normally only get BH in the evening.

Haha I have very non-perky boobs sadly but hadn't heard the muslin trick, will give that a go...

Amelia ends up swaddled a lot for feeding as she loves to throw her arms around in front of her face or suck on her fingers, just as I'm trying to get her to latch on. I feel like I need another couple of pairs of hands to hold everything out of the way :rotfl:[/QUOTE

..... 4nnabella - mine are so non perky I have now had to start using two flannels rolled into a bigger sausage  know what you mean about grabbing, they grab your hair:eek:, grap your boobs, hold their arms in the way .... but most frustratingly as i am breast/bottle & expressing he is getting lazy so just goes to blinking sleep lazy monkey:eek:.....have to tickle his chin and talk nonsense to wake him up... The other day when you were saying about feeling emotional when milk came in, I did too and plus the pain of the stitches was making it worse but is better now I am seated on my valley cushion (bf lady at hospital has lent it free for as long as i need it) I can now sit yay!!! we are supposed to be feeding every 3 hours 10 mins each boob, then bottle then me pumping each breast until milk slows we are trying as best we can

Hope this doesn't come out too big, here's Elliot at one day old :)

I'm seated on many pillows, almost comfy with stitches... a friend has a doughnut shaped cushion that she used, which she's coming round with on Friday. The anti-inflammatory pills I got yesterday do seem to have made a big difference as well, I'd recommend asking for them!

Iron tablets seem to have just about started to work now, I'm feeling a bit less wobbly which is great - though at some point that means I'm going to have to take over some of the nappy changes and housework from DH instead of him sdoing everything :rotfl:

R.e the diet coke, I'd be more worried about the caffeine than the aspartame. I've been eating weetabix drowned in candarel for the whole pregnancy every morning and the midwife/doctors haven't said anything bad about it. The amount of crap in food that we shouldn't be eating, it's just another thing to add to the list. So don't worry too much :)

Nothing much happening here, no more leakage, had a bit of cramping earlier, but apart from that nothing exciting :(

Ooh I'm offline for a day and so much changes! How exciting Gilly, bet you're on toilet watch now then! Hope your OH feels better soon!

Glad I'm not the only one that has the feet dangling down there thing, I love LO to bits and all her movements are amazing but that one scares me, I just think "keep away from there for another 12 weeks at least!"

Had a really important meeting today and I found it soooo hard to concentrate, I'm not sure what we agreed so need to speak to my boss tomorrow to get the low down, I'm so tired it was a bit of an "out of body" day for me today!

Have just heard the pram is coming on Saturday so that's exciting, in other news I ordered a maternity dress for this weekend and they've sent a completely different dress through the post, it bears no resemblance to what I ordered, I'm impatient generally, but when pregnant this kind of thing really gets my goat :mad:so I've complained in a really stroppy email and feel a lot better now :rotfl:

Elliot is gorgeous Bluebell, love that name too!
