Haha, I have a strong feeling I'll still be sat here in three weeks time waiting on an induction but this did cheer me up, I am just about the most impatient person in the world but I also have an OU exam next week and I think LO subconsciously knows that mummy has been studying and would rather I sat it now than leave her for the day in October to sit it then!

Mrs Student glad you've nearly finished and got everything submitted. I'm doing my degree in nursing, I qualified over three years ago and have been topping up to the degree for last two and a half years. Thankfully this is my last module all due in at the beginning May also. Then hopefully we can relax a bit and prepare for our bubbas
Been a lazy day here for me. Took me nearly three hours to do online shop for Monday. Not sure I'm well enough for my normal big shop, at least two hours up and down every aisle with loaded trolley! OH has ordered pizza for tonight, not greatly healthy, but he was after one Wednesday when I got taken to hospital so today he's decided he will try this new hotdog thing. That's probably the most excitement for today lol.

Well, I enjoyed the pedicure, not so much the manicure - she didn't do a good job, I took off the nail polish as I got home and just redid it myself. I asked for French manicure and it was looking so untidy and uneven that I couldn't stand looking at it. Never mind, it was nice to be pampered a bit. Especially as I can hardly reach my feet to put my socks on!

Kept busy all day - did not sit down till nearly 8pm... Poped into Tesco after the pamper session to get the nappies that I had some vouchers expiring next week. Counted my nappies and we have about 1500 nappies in the first 3 sizes!

Then repacked the hospital bags, one for me (cabin sized bag), one for babies (soap and glory bag) and one more for dad/extras (small bag with change for OH, few more sweets, etc). Also made list with what is in each bag, so if needed OH can find things, hopefully. Decided that I had to do this in case something happens when we are away this weekend.

Iron my dress and OH's shirt, and then went to iron a second shirt (he sweats a lot, so likely need to need a change, he was going to use the t-shirt, but I got him to take a more casual shirt instead). Redid my nails, had dinner and now sat on the sofa.

Made a list of addresses for the weekend - church, hotel, hospital near church and another near hotel. We are hoping to collect the dishwasher we won eBay this week on our way back as well.

So, I will probably be away from here this weekend, so best of luck to all and have a nice weekend! Early morning for me - hairdresser at 9am, and then we need to set off for the wedding.

Hi all,

Just wanted to say thank you so much for all your best wishes and support - it really does mean so much to me.

I've really worked hard getting everything ready today. Couldn't have done it without my mum and dad though - they have just been the best. Everything is set up now and I can go into hospital happy that we're ready for the new arrival.

My husband and I went out for a relaxed meal earlier but I've found it a little hard at times since we got back. I keep telling myself we're both nervous and we always react differently so we're bound not to be quite ourselves. Just hope hope hope it goes ok tomorrow.

I'll be back on when I can - thank you again all of you and I hope to be back very soon with happy news. Hope all mummies-to-be and bumps stay well in the mean time and my thoughts are with those who'll hopefully be getting baby cuddles over the weekend too.

Morning all :hello: Hope everyone is well - thanks again for thsoe fantastic lists Emsbet

Big big labour vibes and all the luck in the world to the boldies - looking forward to hearing some baby news over the weekend

Been busy here, DH's 30th birthday went well and had some friends/family over last night which was lovely. I'm also taking him out to a posh restuarant tonight as a special treat which he doesn't know about

Had a builder in yesterday to board the loft and fix the hole in the ceiling of the nursery made by DH's foot! All sorted now so its decorating/painting time - we have until 1st May when carpet is being fited and the furniture is delivered. I'm not allowed in there until then appartently as DH wants to surprise me...but there is no way I will be able to resist a peek!

Morning everyone,

Am so glad it's the weekend, am ready to finish work already and still have 16 weeks to go! Had my Risk Assessment yesterday and H&S guy pulled some funny faces when I said I intend to finish at 36 weeks. He thinks that's too late? I'm not sure what will happen when I get bigger and can't reach the computer anymore?! Anyway will see how it goes, if I need to finish earlier then I will.

Have my scan at 9am on Monday, pretty worried about it but not as worried as the 12 week one, hopefully all will be well. Am 20+2 today so officially past the half way point. Ignoring the fact baby could potentially be 2 weeks late!

Hoping to order the moses basket, stand and bedding today then after the scan I will order that cotbed and have to seriously start thinking about pushchairs.

Good luck to all who could potentially 'pop' their babies out this weekend!

Hope you have a lovely scan on Monday bellola. At least it's early on in the day, so you don't have ages to wait. Mine is at 9am this time too (Thursday), so looking forward to having the rest of the day off to look for baby things etc if all is ok.

Labour vibes for the boldies. Hope you're all ok, and look forward to hearing about your mummy cuddles soon.
