Hi Guys
Had a sweep yesterday, wasn't as painful as I expected. Lost more mucus plug and cramps have been coming and going since. I'm really tired and fed up and soo ready for the babies now.
Congratulations Laura xxx0 -
I sat on the of a since 2pm, and I am so knackered! OH called earlier asking we have anything tonight as he needed to stay at work longer. Well, usually finishes at 4.30 pm, he now called 10min ago to say he is leaving. It is fine, I don't mind, had a quiet evening in front of TV with the cross stitch. Got a discounted pizza in shop earlier, so will leave OH to put it in the oven.
And as it s evening again, I am getting the pains in lower abdomen again and the sharp pain that I can only describe as a scratch down below from inside. Are the babies trying to escape? A bit lower back pain as well. I think I need more rest.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

I got the phone call with my liver test results today and they confirmed my ALT levels are high :undecided. I don't know that definitely means Obstetric Cholestasis yet, but I'm going back tomorrow for more checks.
Having read up on it there are some not so nice things that can happen, but with me being nearly full term I'm staying quite calm as I know that's best for baby too. I finished off packing both mine and baby's bags tonight just incase we get an early arrival.
Hope all mums-to-be, bumps, mums and new-arrivals are safe and well x x
Hi all - sorry I haven't been on - the last few days have been such a blurr!!
The headline news is that I'm going to be a queue jumper! I have been diagnosed with OC and the senior midwife and consultant recommend an early induction, so I'm going in at 9am on Saturday when I reach 37 weeks!
In a way I'm relieved as I've scratched until I bleed without realising it and with reduced movements in baby I'm happier knowing we'll be in safe hands. So strange though - all the times I've thought about when we'll need to ring the hospital when contractions start or what it'll be like if I'm late I never thought I'd be induced early.
Been running around the last day or two getting things done with a list as long as my arm. So glad all baby's clothes are washed though - I managed to do it when the weather was nice so they all dried nicely in the sunshine. People say organised is very me so knowing when it'll happen is very appropriate - and have to admit I'm glad I'll be able to shave my lady-bits before I go in (or what I can reach - sorry if tmi!)
So I think it'll be a Sunday birth but could be anywhere from Saturday to Monday. I just got a smartphone (special offer linked to work before I left on the short Mat Leave I've had!) so will take that into hospital and try and update when I can. I'm still getting used to it so sorry in advance for any odd messages - I'll at least try and make sure I type the sex and name correctly :rotfl:
Hope all is well with everyone else. I'll definitely post again before I leave for hospital on Saturday x x x0 -

Without going into too much detail because i dont want this to come across as an advert and get my butt kicked (It really isnt!)
I brought a pram/pushchair that converts into a moses basket along with all the accessories 5 months ago. Cost me around £650.
Anyway, I dont use the pushchair as much as i thought i would (Use the moses basket daily)
DD is outgrowing the moses basket (I'd say in a month she will be far too big for it) and I've been and brought another pushchair (think stroller type) and am wanting to sell my original pram - Am i being ridiculous is wanting £250? I mentioned it to a friend and she laughed and said i would be lucky to get £200 for it
What are your opinions on second hand prams - what you you be willing to pay?
(dont wanna put an advert up for £250 if its gonna get ignored)
Thanks everyone0 -
Congratulations on the birth of Charlie Laura - pleased to hear the breast feeding is going well. Hope you heal quickly so you can get home with your little man soon.
Congratulations on your little blue baby Student_Mrs - so pleased you finally managed to get a successful scan! Was your OH thrilled?
Just in case you don't get online beforehand, best of luck dashikii - sounds like things are definitely on the move!
Good luck to natwesty for Saturday too.
Been feeling quite sicky today, although I think it may be a bug, as the girl I'm looking after at the moment was also feeling ill - she was lying out on one sofa with tummy ache, and I was on the other sofa. We're getting quite close though with all of this chatting, which is really nice. She's been asking me all sorts of questions about pregnancy etc, as we've been watching birth stories and I didn't know I was pregnant on sky (she's 13 in July). She's really excited about our Bean.
I just hope everything is ok when we have our scan on Thursday next week, as my bump has gone from looking quite big last night, to barely showing today. I'm hoping that it's just that Bean is moving around into a different position or something. I'm getting quite nervous about it now though.
Well hugs or chocolate for those in need of it, and labour vibes where appropriate.
