  • Morning all!

Happy, Glimmer and Goppers we'll miss you if you leave us completely :-( the stalker robin still makes me laugh.

Wow I don't know really how much weight people put on but 15lbs doesn't sound like much. As for 5lbs less, I think I eat way to much for that to happen! I'm feeling quite chubby all over, daren't weight myself.

Wow Laura just seen tomorrow is d-day for you!! Hope you're all prepared and not too nervous. Good luck !!

My sister is coming to take me shopping this morning. Was thinking of getting some nice summer clothes but it's p!ssing it down. Nice stay in bed/lay on sofa weather. Still it'll be nice to get out the house, I may have become a hermit.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Have a nice shopping trip LMM. I'm painting more doors today. Also got to wash the bedding for the spare room ready for our relay of visitors at the weekend.

I'm wondering about the sleeping on your left side advice. I'm trying as much as possible to sleep on my left side but my hips are so sore that I can't go all night without turning over. I'm trying to do most of the night lying on my left then a couple of hours on my right but I feel guilty especially as I lie on my right when I lie on the sofa. What's everyone else doing?

    xx

    Good luck for tomorrow Laura.
I think thanks to you ladies I might need to self refer to the physio. I am able to do if for 6 weeks. My pelvic floor is screwed thanks to Tristan and all the laughing you ladies have been making me do. It either that or I need to just become more like Victor Meldrew!!!! Still holding out for that sponsorship with Tena Lady

Emsbet, I constantly switch between the two, no way I can do one side all night it would be way too sore.

I am really excited about tomorrow but also really nervous. Not about the op but about having a baby to look after, still I mother the cat well, how different can a baby be lol

    Good luck, Laura!

I had a decent sleep, but not enough! Woke up only twice tonight, but once completely asked in sweat. Have to get moving, get into shower, have my breakfast and then wait for the oven cleaner.

I came down to the kitchen this morning, and had a smile on my face seeing that it was clean and tidy. The hard job will be not to let it go wild again, make sure we wash dishes at the end of the day, etc. And surprise - as I came down OH was picking up the scoop and went to collect his crumbs from the floor in the dining room. Ok, it was either too messy for me to see, or he is getting the message.

Re 10 movements a day. I am not sure how many I feel. They are usually quiet, and I never count...

I ha a weird dream tonight that I gad my babies and both MIL and our ex-landlady (we bought this house of her and her husband after renting before) were there. There were some checks after the birth and I was shouting to keep my MIL away. Ex-landlady is a midwife in the hospital we will be giving birth, so that didn't feel weird. Oh, then afterwards I was dreaming that I went out for the walk with the babies, but later in there was only one in the pram.

  • Emsbet I lie mostly on my right, mainly due to habit I guess and my right hip is supported more if I lie on it. Also just years of habit. OH is telling me that he's read I should lie on my left hand side but in the night I'll turn back on to my right anyway.

Gin sounds very strange, amazing how pregnancy messes with your brain.

Happy we must stop making you laugh! Hope they get everything back to normal soon unless tena do offer you a deal.

Don't leave us lovely new mummies - stay on here and talk to us! :D Glad things are going well - gorgeous name for your little lady Goppers :)

Hope everyone is well - not long now Laura! What do you plan to do today?

I can't believe how quickly time seems to be flying at the moment, I'm not in work for rest of week and after this, only have 3 weeks left (working 4 days a week...so only 12 teeny tiny days!) I'm so looking forward to maternity leave...if only that I can get started on my 'maternity leave list of things to do'...and pack my hospital bag! :D

I have physio today, desperate for it now and hope it will help. While I'm at the hospital I need to get a blood test done too - midwife tried both arms but couldn't get a decent vein on Monday. Blood tests don't bother me so long as I look away, but she did worry me slightly by saying that if worse comes to the worse, they will get blood out of my foot!

Have a great day all, labour vibes to those boldies

I try to lie on my left as this is the position that most helps with my breathing. I get real shortness of breath if I'm on my back particularly. My hips become agony after a few hours so I'm swapping between each side all night. I'm continually turning over like a rotisserie chicken :D
