Sorry not been around much since CJ arrived- its a bit full on at the mo.

I posted on the old thread a short while ago, about a drinks bottle in the NCY sale. It arrived today, and i've found it sooooo handy already. One thing i was sooo not prepared for, is the amount of time BF is taking up, and how difficult it makes simple things like keeping well hydrated (critical for good bf). If i am BF on the wrong side to the table, it means i cant even drink when thirsty! The bottle has totally saved me, as it has a clip and a long tube with valve, so you can always get a drink..
Worth a think/look ladies...

Looks good, even if I can't have the wine lol.

It'll be our last Monday with no baby too :eek: sounds so scary to say that. X

How wrong was I about being first lol?! I've not had any signs at all yet - will be getting a sweep on Monday if babies still not out, I hope it happens before then though so send me your labour vibes please everyone...

Ok, how to cope with the cramps? At just after 5am I was screaming my head off! I had two cramps on my right leg - one near the knee on the right side, and on in the ankle, so could do any stretching, and then a tiny one on the left leg (which I only felt after the right leg relaxed). OH tried to massage it, but it only resulted in me screaming more... I still have the 'residues' of the cramps in both legs, hope they won't come back during the day!

I was in pain,could do nothing to help it, and all I could think was that I do not want to be like the screamer woman from OBEM! By the time it all passed, it was nearly time to get up, so a bit short on sled this morning...

I used to get cramps all the time and I asked my midwife and she told me to drink a glass of tonic water a day. Apparently it has something in that helps to not get them. Not sure if I'm lucky but it's worked for me. They are so damm painful.

I also did the rounds of the supermarkets last night with my vouchers! Just a word of warning, I think some ladies had managed to use the free huggies starter pack voucher in Asda and get £5 off the bill so 2 packs and only pay £1, it didn't work in my ASDA, it only took off £3 for one pack so I ended up paying for the other one. however when I went back in having ripped some of the coupons out of the box I accidentatlly gave them a Euros coupon. It didn't scan but the lady just said 'it's the same as the other one' and scanned the first one again! Also, if you want the little swimmers they are £3 in the baby event and then the voucher gives you £2 off so only £1 a pack. I've cut out the rest of my vouchers now so I might pop and get some more at lunch if I can be bothered then tomorrow I'm going to tesco to use the wipes vouchers. Oh and I got the nature baby nappies too, they had them in sainsbury's near me, 1/3 off so with the £4 voucher they cost me 38p, I got size 3 as that was the smallest they had but they'll get used eventually, even if I go with re-usables after the first few weeks as I'll want disposables for when we're out.

I now have sciatica! Its not too bad, just twinges when I move in certain ways, can't really complain as I have iffy hips at the best of times so I thought I may be one of those poor people who suffer with SPD from really early on but touch wood I've been pretty much ok so far.

Really looking forward to a week on Sunday, I have SnoopyTweety and another girl who's PG (never met her, it's MIL's best friend's daughter) coming to my house for tea and cake! ooh Snoopy, I'm going to bake a cake or something so if theres anything in particular you like (or don't like!) let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Gin, just thinking about your leg cramps, it might be different in pregnancy but I know its generally recommended to eat a banana a day to help with leg cramps. its something to do with the potassium they contain. Might be worth a try if nothing else helps!

Can't believe in 50 hrs times we will be at hospital getting ready for c section, it has suddenly crept up very fast, I've been praying lots that babys blood sugars are okay at birth, they have said they are totally prepared for her so fingers crossed xxx

We are going out to Frankie and Bennys for an early valentines meal tonight, hoping it will take my mind of things xxxx
