Heartburn was a huge issue at the moment, as is leg cramps. We found that milk does indeed do the trick (no polo mints though) - and a tube elastic band thing I got for physio some years ago is great for the leg cramps.

Don't know what I'll do for the back pain though - maybe suggest lying on the sofa seems to be a good idea... eating cake/chocolate/anything... right?

Right, I need you to explain the elastic band thing for the leg cramps... So far consultant offered no help, apart from it is part of pregnancy. I started with tonic water, seems to be a bit better, so glass of tonic water is my evening drink now.

WW2BR - tbh the back pain is just an occupational hazard and mine has been there for weeks on and off. You can start off in one position and wake up in agony in a completely different one. Does your wife construct a base with pillows now she's kicked you out?

I think he maybe means a tubi grip Gin. I thought you weren't able to sleep in them cos they can restrict the blood flow. I'm another one who just makes do with tonic water and it definitely does help.

Re meet up: I would prefer somewhere out of town centre. I wouldn't brave the train into town with twins, and driving into town is a mess, parking extortionate... I went not Manchester by car on Wednesday for my last day at work and it took 1h 45 min! And as it was a whole day, I ended paying over £18 for parking (well, I chose the closest car park to the office).

If you decide on mid June, I might not be able to join you - it might be a bit too difficult to get out with twins still!

I could do Trafford centre if that was better for most. It would be about 1hr 30 door to door but it would be do-able. I think the bus out to the Trafford centre is about £3/4 so even with train into manc that's still cheaper than your parking

I was going to offer a lift to emsbet too (it somewhere Bolon way, isn't it?), but if twins are here already, might be much more difficult to fit in the car!

I can't remember when we all are due, but if someone wanted to meet up before babies are due, I would be up to it, as long as I can still fit behind the steering wheel! Anyone up for April?...

    Yeah I live in Horwich.

I'm not due until September so if the twins are here when we meet I can be a spare pair of hand to help :)

I'm ok with April but lots of the ladies are due next month.

    Weightlifting Easter eggs? ;)

Well what else do you do with them Emsbet. Get with the program girlie!!!

I'll meet up whenever I physically can but these babies are notoriously unreliable so can't say for definite until he is here.
