Feet up at last, took annual leave today, been into town for nursing bras so that's sorted and got a load of washing on the line and another nearly ready, I feel surprisingly active still! A few pages back, someone mentioned pain when waking, I've shown the post to my hubby, you explained it better than me its breathtakingly painful too!
The hospital cancelled my bf class as I was apparently the only lady signed up, can't make next weeks as I have my final project meeting at work so no feeding session for mea bit peeved as I thought it might be useful
anyone else find people are friendlier to pregnant ladies? Man in our local shop never says two words, was practically struck dumb when he said I was blooming today!0 -
 maybe i need to go there! Purely for research for the book you understand!
xx
It is a beautiful village, set in lovely countryside. It has a campsite where you can take your own caravan or tent, and a static site. But it also has about 5 hotels if that is your bag instead.
The hotels though are lovely but not cheap, but they are the sort of hotels that serve high tea and elevenses and that you can have spa treatments at.
It has a tree lined avenue through the centre of the village with boutique type shops along it - including the cake shop.
You can walk along the river bank for hundreds of miles.
You would need a car though if you wanted to get out and about.
It really is lovely! x xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0 -

Gin - have you had your iron levels tested recently?
I had my iron levels checked last week, an the are back up to January levels, but my energy is not increasing. Guess this is a part of the pregnancy.Gin you should stash a load of food and drink next to the sofa so you can keep your energy levels up without having to get up all the time.
I have biscuits and a pot of tea. Just had toast and cheese. Postman woke me up and cat had to jump off, so used the occasion...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Well, the bad news is that we live in the NW too. Though, the wrong NW - the one in London! But my DW comes from the real NW, The Wirralshire. We come up to the NW a few times a year, and if we can co-ordinate it then I'd be happy to drop her off with y'all at the Trafford Centre and make a mad dash to freedom (the shops)!
(We have a friend's wedding on Wirralshire mid-April, so get to see how the long drive north goes, should be fun..)
Heartburn was a huge issue at the moment, as is leg cramps. We found that milk does indeed do the trick (no polo mints though) - and a tube elastic band thing I got for physio some years ago is great for the leg cramps.
Don't know what I'll do for the back pain though - maybe suggest lying on the sofa seems to be a good idea... eating cake/chocolate/anything... right?Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0 -
Oh oh am I invited? Trafford centre or manc city is easy for me!Sealed Pot Challenge Member #8810

Re meet up: I would prefer somewhere out of town centre. I wouldn't brave the train into town with twins, and driving into town is a mess, parking extortionate... I went not Manchester by car on Wednesday for my last day at work and it took 1h 45 min! And as it was a whole day, I ended paying over £18 for parking (well, I chose the closest car park to the office).
If you decide on mid June, I might not be able to join you - it might be a bit too difficult to get out with twins still!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
