Hi rakkibeth. What nice neighbours you having giving you a pram. I find that people are very generous with baby stuff.

Gin - you have a lot of determination. Not sure I could have put up a wardrobe at 28 weeks. Mind you at 36 weeks I now struggle to open mine. And as for fitting into anything in it well don't get me started one that one!!

Elelyn - sorry for mentioning the toffee but it is lush. I'll probably have a black mouth for the next few days with overconsumption.

Hi - I'm Jo, 28 weeks pregnant with 1st baby. We thought we couldn't conceive after 5 years trying and one failed IVF, then I fell pregnant naturally!

Afternoon all

This thread always makes me hungry!! That toffee sounds yum!

I ve been finding people very generous with baby stuff too. its lovely and I will do the same for others when we no longer need our bits. I guess its like baby karma!

One more week left at work for me! Woohoo! although got Friday & Monday off to go to a friends wedding - which is a 500 mile round trip!! Eek! Hoping my ankles dont swell up on the way. Im considering wearing flight socks but not sure if that will help on a long car journy. Any other ideas anyone?

Had my 36 week check this morning (I am 36 +4) and baby is 2/5 engaged so that is good news. Good little Pip seems to be going in the right direction!! Lets hope it continues!

They were happy with everything, and just told me to keep doing whatever I am doing. I wish I knew what it was!

And the best thing - only 4 working days after today left for me. Can't wait to finish and jsut lazy on the sofa for a bit...

I am number 9 - scary scary !!!!!!....

and breathe.......revision done, washing done and pegged out, wedding outfit sorted for tomorrow, DS bedroom tidied, downstairs hoovered, errands done for OH's work, baby's blankets all washed and now ready in the moses basket, showered, make up done and hair straightened.....off to pick DS up from nursery then exam time.

omg!! now youv put the numbers on its become very scary!!!!!

been propper nesting this week. the nursery is now a nursery, jus curtins to put up, everythin in its place, list made of what else we need to buy and hospital bags packed!!! feels great to be organised!!

i was jus thinking about hiring a tens machine, gonna google in a mo but wondered if anyone else had some advise? are you bothering??

Yes it was a big surprise and a very happy one! Didn't really believe it was true until we saw the little chap on the 12 week scan. We are having a boy - can't wait to cuddle him!
