    Hello all !
Just lying in bed after feeding LO, hubby has been getting all the poo nappies to change :) !

4nnabella- fab birth story and piccie. She looks really like Scott  it's quite freaky will have to do a comparison when can upload piccie. Can't believe she was back to back like Scott, noticed u said waters broke at home, mine didnt they were broken by mw on second exam. Glad u were able to have hubby there the first night my first night was hell without him as they can help do so much ! I found tens a bit annoying with pads too sticking to night dress etc hope u are getting on ok stitches are ow !!
    Tc

Re maternity pads I used hospital ones as they were bigger and they let me have them Kept asking agree with 4nnabella went through loads, supposed to change them every 2-3 hours now cos of stitches etc I have been using always night old style thick period pads without wings they are usually around a pound and they are ok for me, for some reason want a thicker pad for comfort

Reading all your posts is keeping me sane thrOugh sleepless nights!
Know things are getting closer for a lot of you !!

    Hugs
    Ro xxxx

Meant to add as u know have high Bmi so they sent me home with injections for 5 days of blood thinning drug, it's actually fine, mum does it for me! The pain relief for stitches/ episiotomy is diclofenac it does slow things down in the bathroom dept so warning if you have it! My ankles are massive too it's weird as escaped major swelling in pregnancy.

Everyman and his dog trying to visit at the moment it's quite stressful. Even got a card from two people who I have no idea who they are!!!!

Thanks for this. It's a Hauck Shopper and you are right - just getting a plain one in red is £140 so I will have to consider whether it's worth paying £40 to look at winnie the pooh all day!

I was going to just go for it at first but then realised I could always try it out in store (still haven't got round to that) then buy it online. Should be okay as long as I make sure the website is reputable etc but I think KiddiesWorld which I have heard of on here has it :)

ETA Also the online prices are the prices it has been since I started looking, a few months ago, so if you were undecided and didn't go for the Winnie the Pooh one, you wouldn't be "missing" the price in the sale if you see what I mean.

Glad things r going well for u Ro :) Looking forward to seing pics xx

I think i forgot to say to Anna, ur baby is gorgeous! She looks totally perfect! xxx

Oh I`d LOVE an Iphone, but then again so would my 9 yr old! I just cant really justify the expense on a contract. On Payg, i only top up a tenner a month! I get free texts and 100mb internet with that so i`m happy :) Most of my friends call me haha or i wait til i`m home and call them on their landline as we have free calls.

DD2 has a party today, thats all i seem to do at weekends lately, run the kids to parties!

Baby hasnt moved yet this morning, which is unusual, he normally goes on a mad one when i eat :/ Will *have* to go eat some choc in a min and see if that gets him going. xx

Hello all. Had a lovely afternoon with the parents. Got the moses basket now set up in our bedroom, their gift for the baby, with loads of bedding etc. It looks so cosy. Mum has also been squirrelling away baby wipes, nappies etc so we should be now set for a while LOL.

Went to babies r us and they didnt have the travel system so will just order online. I can try it out inside anyway so am going to have to do that.

Off out to Asda baby event in a bit:)

    Hi ladies..

Congrats to Ro, Anna and Toniq on your new arrivals, and hope everyone else is doing well with their bumps! Funny the similarities in birth stories going on- i ended up with a back to back, and ended up with forceps and epidural as LO turned her head to transverse and needed a little tweak to get out. Nearly finished my birth story, which i'll post on the birth story thread and stick a link on here.

Sorry not been around much.. Claudia has been keeping me very busy! Its been up and down, a few nights of nonstop (and i do mean 8pm-8am nonstop) crying when she wouldnt go down at all, which is heart breaking as nothing we did soothed her. But then we have had a couple of nights where she has been so good, and had her night feeds when we woke her, and then gone straight back to sleep in her crib.

Also had a horrible 24hrs when we went to hospital in an ambulance, as LO wasnt right, wouldnt rouse from sleep properly, couldnt get her to feed. Ended up admitted under obs for nearly 24hrs which was a horrible experience. Wont go into the whole thing, but the post about it on the NB thread is here, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/50378317#Comment_50378317
Don't want to scare anyone wanting to B/F, and i hope your hospitals would be better, but i'd rather you were aware of what to look for and how to deal with it, than end up in hospital like we were..

LO is doing well now though. Had a great night sleep (as great as 20mins feed every 2hrs can be!) last night, with no crying. She is filling out nicely too. DH has just taken her out on a pram walk to give me half an hour of mummy time. Luxury! Trying to fend off visits from rellies left right and centre, as i just dont think we have enough routine set yet, and i think LO really needs it, or gets over tired and then wont sleep. Trying to learn to be more structured and organised, but it takes time!

Lovely pics- funny, i think our 3 LO's look quite similar! CJ just looks huge next to any other NB's we encounter though! Monster child!
This is she on the day she was born!

Hi ladies, have just read back but can't remember much lol!

Lovely baby pics, weird to think I have one of those in my tummy!

I think it was Norabatty looking at the winnie the pooh travel system? Anyway, it looks a good price but I personally wouldn't get it as there's no carrycot and I personally believe newborns should be laid flat as much as possible. Don't forget that the max they can be in a car seat is 2-2.5 hrs and can you put a newborn in the pushchair? I guess it depends on how you feel about such things and also how much baby you will be using it. I suppose as it has a group 0 carseat included then it must be suitable from birth, just not my personal choice.

I went shopping with mum yesterday, went to York then called at a big mothercare on the way back. I think I now have about 4 or 5 things left to buy!!!!! But I also have a living room full of stuff that I was too tired to sort out and put away last night.

My sciatica is starting to get alot worse now. I was in agony by the time we got home yesterday, it had eased off by the time I got up this morning but I've been to Morrisons and done the shopping.....which I could have given up and abonndoned half way around! I won't be moving far from the sofa for the rest of the day! DH is at work and won't be home till 9pm so I can have a catch up on all the TV programmes that I've recorded that he won't watch! Oh and try get my knitting finished!
