  • Think I will just drop her a polite email, if she won't I will pay it anyway as it is partially my fault, but point out to her that £15 postage costs for something that will actually cost £4.50 ish to post is a bit OTT! Thanks ladies x x

Spent £40 on hiring cake tins, and decorations for making my lovely mum's 70th bday cake for next week, hubby nearly had kittens lol! x x

lol sorry hun. thats the way they do it, they do an internal, then decide they cant see anything, do the "ohh she is all paranoid" look then a few days later at my scan they get proved wrong by the reduction of fluid. it really annoys me. so this time, i am not going, i have informed them my pad is damp, well it was more

me: my pad was a bit damp but i had been to the laundrette lugging a weeks worth of washing arround
midwife: are you sure it wasnt wee
me: i have had four babies, three of wich were live, and have a poor pelvic floor, it isnt wee
midwife: ohh you better come to delivery suite
me: erm no, could you just put it on my notes please
midwife: no we need to see you
me: well thats unfortunate because im not comming in, i am suposed to telephone you and let you know, comming in isnt compulsory

she didnt even take my name

Oh I love it when people stick up for themselves. I bet she came off the phone wondering what had hit her. And as for not taking your name, that's great service for you. I'm sure with your past pregnancies you are more than aware of your own body and wouldn't hesitate if you felt something wasn't right. Funny how they always assume you have p1ssed yourself!!!!

to be honest if i thought for one second that isla was in any danger then i would be in like a shot. but she is moving no problem, the pain in my floo is because her head is right there and she pushes down when she moves. the loss of waters is a usual occurance and i have been having it for weeks, there only concerned about it now because i kicked up a fuss about infection when i saw them this week, I am already on anti biotics and have been since i was 8 weeks and the actual prescription would stay the same even if they admitted me, wich they wouldnt because she moves around alot so there happy when i go on the monitor.. there a bunch of numpties (im having an anti midwife day lol) they also dont understand that spd actually gets worse when they give you an internal and push your leg down, and i dont have time to be laid in bed for days. i have a scan tuesday anyway to check the fluid so they will see when i have that.
