Happy due date to me!

MIL came up yesterday for a quick trip, SIL is due today too down in penzance so she spent 2 days there and 2 days here but no babies have put in an appearance.

We went shopping and walked all day round the shops, i am truely knackered, its a shame she didnt come next week, she would have got a better chance of seeing babies. She treated me to lunch, ds some clothes for his birthday, got me some pj's and shoes in primark and a clothes airer in asda.

I needed a new airer so am well chuffed, the only thing is she is going back at 7am tomorrow and I not said thank you properly so hopes she pops back later with OH.

Just had chinese as kiddies were meant to be off to grandma's but at the last moment she decided she couldn't after tearing cartilage in her knee which is understandable but wished she told me earlier so I could have sorted something for dinner.

Still not packed my hospital bags yet! Should really do that tonight.

Had a lovely day with my godchildren, sadly we have discovered I cannot wind babies think I'm just too careful to give a good old pat on the back, and got covered in puke as a result of my failing! Hoping its gonna be different with our LO!

Saw something today that made me smile, a post on a thread on another forum about that new Gina Ford book, people were talking about baby books and someone said they've never read any baby book because the the baby won't have read them, my philosophy exactly!

Ladies who are thinking of BF, to buy a pump before the big arrival, or to wait and see how BF goes, any thoughts?

I read the Gina Ford book - contented baby one - when pg with DS, load of pants lol from what I can recall it was very strict as to times you have to feed, put baby to sleep etc. All went out of the window when DS born, won't be reading anymore this time lol

I bought one off eBay. It's spotless and its not like anything other than the silicon cushion is in contact with the boob and that can be sterilised. I paid £26 for a tomee tippee electric one. If I don't get on with BF I'll just re-list it to get my money back.

Congrats to new mummies and any newbies i have missed!

Baby Flynn is a dream, and absolute angel he has a very special one watching over him tho so hopefully things will stay this way!!! Still finding i hard to believe i`ve actually had him and i`m not pregnant anymore!
Its day 6 and baby blues have been around for a few days now

For those of u that may remember me posting 2 weeks ago abou my MIL hat had found a lump in her breast, thought i`d let u know that she found out today that she had grade 2 breast cancer wont know much more for a few weeks after an MRI scan and the consultant. Not what we all need right now but there u go

Hey Emmy I'm glad you are ok and Flynn is getting on well. I imagine you are on a roller coaster of emotions at the moment as you have had a rough few months. Im always about if you want to talk.
Sorry to hear about your MIL. I remembered you saying how she was at the clinic today and I am sorry the news wasn't good.
How are the girls taking to their baby brother? Xx
