I got to 30 weeks and was a bit sort of "wow, omg its coming soon" then got to sort 32 weeks and people started wording it "how long left" rather than "how far along" and just having to say 8 weeks yet, really really got me down :( Now tho, the end is in sight, it feels very real indeed! Esp with it being number 4, i kinda know whats coming, and know its gonna be bloody hard work! Had a really bad pain go thru my belly yesterday. Started at the top of my bump, spread round to my back and then down to the bottom of the bump, so the whol lot was hurting. The pain pasted for 3 mins and took my breath away. THEN I PANICKED!!! Haha, suddenly realised I have to go thru labour again and i really dont want to!
DD3 was rather concerned this afternoon that theres no cot for the baby to sleep in, she offered him her dolly cot bless her! Moses basket is still in the box and cot is in the attic so i can see her concerns!
Snoopy, just realised u got married a few weeks afer I did :) 08.08.08 xx

I'm starting to panic now I think, I don't think it felt "real" to me until after Christmas probably, maybe once I got into January.

Pretty much 95% organised though I'd say, still got to get my nursing bras, breast soothing pad things and some sweets/goodies for the hospital bag (I ate the last lot  )

Talking about outies, mines is still an inny BUT I think if it becomes an outty my OH will leave me, he is terrified of them :rotfl: With 2 and a bit weeks to go though, surely it'l stay how it is? Wishful thinking.

R.e The list I remember being 60 odd

I think we should all write a book, make it a joint blog like effort for what to expect and how to be ready for pregnancy lol! x

    Gilly lol.

When i had my outie, My OH said it looked like it was trying to give him a kiss lol.

When I mentioned it to the nice midwife, she laughed, and said if it freaks you out too much, or its noticeable under clothes, you can put microporous tape over it and it will go back.

It happens on and off still, when he's properly curled up in the middle of my belly, but I'm used to it now.

Just had a bacon sandwich and a dippy egg. Was lovely :)

Saw on another thread earlier that Toniq had updated on FB about baby, so I'm guessing they are both ok :) x

D'ya know, me and OH were talking about this last night. A girl in his work had said "I don't understand why anyone would put themselves through pregnancy"

I don't know why anyone would take the words of others on the subject, some people have good pregnancys, other people have crap ones. My experience of pregnancy hasn't put me off, it's not nice, I'm not "blooming" like some people seem to be :( but I've not been ill or anything and it's only 9 months of my life for something so precious. I can understand why it puts some people off though, especially if they've had bad pregnancys, but I can't understand someone who hasn't been through it at all to say they never would want to

Does it go back in if it pops out? Or do you have an outty forever?

Aw that's good news about Toniq :) xx

Snoopy, i`m not even worried about a cot yet tbh! I know realistically baby wont be in it for a good 10-12 weeks anyway! I didnt purchase one until DD2 was literally filling her moses basket, I did have it up with DD3 from 10 weeks of pregnancy, but that was purely as it was coming up for xmas, and i needed somewhere to put all the presents haha! I`m also hoping to find a good deal on a new one between now and then ;)
Well, i put my shower curtain under the sheet on the bed yesterday haha! Thought i`d best do it as waters went in bed last time, i was soaked from bum to toe lol. Is anyone else worried about being outside and their waters going??? It petrifies me to the point i`m tempted to keep some clean clothes in the car :/ xx

Oh, forgot to say, it rained on the morning of my wedding haha! xx

  • No mine goes in and out depending on how he's laid. It seems to be shallower than it was before but the skin on my belly is so bloody tight at the minute there's no wonder.

Yes it's Funny how you worry about people on here, even though you've never met them. Or I do anyway.

Emmylou. I put a bag with a spare pair of knicks and leggings in my handbag for when we go out lol. X
  • I agree, it took us 4 years of undignified and intrusive fertility treatment to get to this stage, and even though I have been healthy and not suffered I wouldn't say do it or don't to anyone else, it is such an individual thing! I personally love it, but have never felt that rush of energy, or got that glowing thing, infact I have had a rubbish cold for most of the pregnancy and loads of spots lol.

Would I go through another 4 years of fertility treatment to have another, dam right I would if necessary! x x

I've not even thought about waters breaking  midwife at antenatal told us less then 20% of peoples waters will break before any contractions etc, not sure how accurate that is though. :o

May go buy a shower curtain now though :rotfl:

Bellybuttons, where my piercing was has went all weird and "scar" looking. It's been out for years too, but since pregnancy it's all horrid looking!
