I know it was posted in this thread but can't for the life of me find it... I wanted to add to my liost the ready made bottles of milk for emergencies.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Is it for the hospital or just at home Kelda? If it's just for home you'd be cheaper just buying the cartons of ready made I'd say. Something like http://www.boots.com/en/SMA-First-Infant-Milk-1Litre_5201/

If it's for hospital you're looking for http://www.boots.com/en/SMA-1-First-Infant-Milk-from-Birth-Breast-Milk-Substitute-12-x-100ml-Starter-Pack_955186/

Remember though, most hospitals will give formula out, it's only some that specify you have to bring your own. xx
The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.
  • More for hom if I was really struggling with BF and child was starving!

It was the wee bottles I was meaning but you're right I'd be best witht eh cartons as planning to use closer to nature bottles to allow bottle feeding with breast milk.

Definitely go with the cartons then, so much cheaper. The bottles are so expensive.

You can just tip that milk straight into the bottles and I'm planning on buying a few cartons this week, just to have incase. It's closer to nature bottles I have too :)

  • Ecening ladies, hope you are all well.

Congrats Anna - what a fab story, I want one of those!

I really want to hear from Toniq, hope she is well.

Can't believe we have 3 boldies - labour vibes to all.

And wow - what a busy time we will have then, I am number 40 on the list now, that will knock me down a few places lol.

Lazy day today, sat in my chair and worked on my tapestry all day, and not got out of my pj's - OH has run around after me all day, is that bad? lol

One thing I will say about my lazy day is that little lady has been awake all day, and I am not exagerating, she has been like a little whirlwind in there, with no breaks, it's been lovely, but really child - have a sleep!!! She hasn't been gentle with me either. Having said that I have had a definite growth spurt this week, am so much bigger than a few days ago, tummy has been stretching, and last night I realised my belly button is all but out and I had such a deep one before!

Pay day on Weds and I can't wait - it has been a long tortureous month, and we have just about cleaned the freezer out. And OH is taking me out on a big shopping spree on Saturday to make up for having a rubbish birthday. Which will include some big time baby shopping - yeah!!! x x x x

  • Snoopy - it terrifies me when you tell me where you are on the list as that means im only one place ahead!!!!!!!!!!
Think my little man is having a bit of a spurt aswell. I seem to have almost grown overnight. Not sure what im going to look like when i wake up anymore. Clothes are getting really tight aswelll so need to do something about that before i cut off my circulation.

Ahhhhh happy - it terrifies me too lol, at the same time as making me very very excited.

Was interested in all the weight conversations earlier. I started off with a massive BMI too - in 3 brackets above healthy!! But up to week 21 I had lost a stone since my weigh in at the booking in appointment, and as at last weeks weigh in I am still 5lb under where I started at 8 weeks pregnant, with only 13 weeks left to go, so I am happy with that. By the time I am finished I will have put some weight on, but not much I hope!! x x x

  • Does it feel real yet emmylou?

Somedays it feels real and I am over whelmed, and somedays it still seems a million miles away - until she bounces on my bladder and reminds me! lol x x

I'm starting to panic now I think, I don't think it felt "real" to me until after Christmas probably, maybe once I got into January.

Pretty much 95% organised though I'd say, still got to get my nursing bras, breast soothing pad things and some sweets/goodies for the hospital bag (I ate the last lot  )

Talking about outies, mines is still an inny BUT I think if it becomes an outty my OH will leave me, he is terrified of them :rotfl: With 2 and a bit weeks to go though, surely it'l stay how it is? Wishful thinking.

R.e The list I remember being 60 odd
