Haha obviously a theme going on - we've just ordered a curry! :D

I just weighed myself and I've put on about half a stone so far (19w+1d). I hope that's ok... I have quite a decent sized bump already, and my boobs have definitely grown, but I don't think I've put on any/much weight anywhere else... I'm really paranoid about putting on too much weight during pregnancy, as I've always been fairly fit and healthy and really can't face spending months/years shedding the dreaded "baby weight"...!

Why does everyone think it's acceptable to make comments about you when you're pregnant?! I was in our office coffee shop the other day buying a cake (ok not great but generally my diet is pretty good, and I've always liked cake, it's not a pregnancy thing!), and a woman from admin said "oh you don't want to eat too much of that sort of thing, you'll regret it later"...! My friend is about 24 weeks pg and colleagues have been saying things like "oh I see you're perfecting your waddle already", and coming up to her and literally poking her in the belly! It's like you become public property as soon as you start to show!

Anyone got any exciting plans for the weekend? I'm going to see South Pacific (musical) tomorrow afternoon with my mum and sister, for my mum's bday, should be fun. And on sunday I've got a friend coming over for lunch, who I haven't seen since I told her I was pg :) In between times I've got loads of work to do for my "bit on the side" job...too much to do and not enough time! :(

Glad all went ok today lisa, I know what you mean about people-watching at the maternity hospital, I like it too :)

Yesterday and today, baby has been kicking so much! Really distinctive as taps/kicks now, as opposed to a general squirmy feeling. And last night, I was lying on the sofa, pulled my top up and I could actually see my tummy jumping when it kicked! Crazy, as I think it's still fairly early. I have a feeling I'm going to be in trouble if this keeps up as it grows!

Re weight. I've not weighed myself since booking in. My reasoning is ignorance is bliss lol. People have said I have looked like I have lost a little weight. My face is def a little thinner. I've put it down to pretty much eating healthier, part from the odd takeaway every other week or so.

Off to visit parents tomorrow to pick up some baby bits and the Moses basket and stand which they have bought for us. Going to try babies r us too to see if the have the travel system we are after. I hope they have it.

Blimey, I go away for 36 hours and come back to 6 pages to catch up on! I would have updated you all last night but in the rush (!) to get to hospital I put my phone down then couldn't find it when OH was rushing me out the door so I had to go without it... Anyway...

    It's a girl! :D :j :D :j

Amelia Grace arrived at 5.10pm yesterday, after getting to hospital at 4.20pm and being found to be fully dilated! Literally had about 20mins of pushing and she popped out! We've just got home, had a bit of a hitch with breast feeding but the midwives were fab and we're getting there... She's pretty much slept ever since being born! I've got a little 2nd degree tear, but it's not too bad. I'll do my birth story tomorrow, my phone battery is about to die... Basically she is the most adorable baby I've ever seen and OH and I are totally smitten! I'll post a couple of pics tomorrow too. I am one very proud mum!

I hope Toniq got on ok today, looking forward to getting an update from her! Hope everyone else is well :)

Aww congrats 4annabella! Check you out getting to fully dilated at home!

All that talk of takeaways is making me hungry! DH won't be in from work until just after 9pm when we'll be having chicken kiev (posh ones from the butchers) with HM oven chips and beans but I'd love a KFC!!!

Also. Has everyone signed up to the Hipp Organic Baby Club?

I got my welcome pack through today and it had a little comfort blanket with an elephant on it. Quite cute for a freebie.

I never got that in my pack! *stamps feet*
