Congratulations, Kelda! Enjoy this day, it is a big step.

My V-day is tomorrow. OH asked today when do I plan to pack my hospital bag, and I have no idea. I haven't even looked at the lists yet of what I may need!! With twins they say to have the bags ready from 26-28 weeks, so I need to hurry up....

We moved the wardrobe out! Now there is bed side cabinet left, a tall drawer unit, lamp shade, carpet, curtains and blinds. We are getting there! Hopefully the work will be done in the next 3 weeks or so as well, can't wait. Off to B&Q today to look a some colours.

  • Emsbet - I had a lot of discharge this pregnancy and mine was often a yellowy colour. I spoke to thr midwife and she said to me if I wasn't itching or there was a bad odour then it was fine but if it didn't stop then I needed swabs done. It came and went for a few days and I've seen nothing of it since. I don't know exactly when it was but it was first trimester. If you are concerned I would phone the doc just to put your mind at rest. If it's causing you any stress and you can't put it to the back of your mind it's definitely worth a call.
Kelda - congrats on V day

Thanks for the reply. That's what I had read, if it's not itchy or smelly then it is probably nothing. It seems to gone back to normal now, so I think I'll keep an eye on it through the day and see how it goes.

Hi Emsbet, I have had this all the way through my pregnancy and it was at its height at 8 - 12 weeks and is now back again at 28 - 32 weeks, sometimes clear but mostly yellow so I think it's sounding completely normal. Sometimes it was so heavy I'd have to keep popping to the loo but I'm kinda just used to wearing pantyliners every day now!

MIL just brought round beautiful hand crocheted squares for cleaning baby at bath time, we're having a shopping day to Mothercare tomorrow so quite looking forward to ticking the last few bits and bobs off the list!

I've been wearing panty liners since I got my BFP as I seem to one of those ladies who gets quite a lot. It was the same in my last pregnancy.

Another pantyliner wearer coz of discharge here! When i was preg with DD3 i had lots of it, Dr did swabs, and found i had Strep B. Didnt want to worry u, but might be worth getting checked out if the discharge continues? I know i`m not the only one here that has Strep B, so it might just be me thats suffered from discharge because of it, if that makes sense!

Thanks. I may mention it at my appointment with the midwife after the dating scan in couple of weeks. My sister also has Strep B. She had swabs taken when she was pregnant with her youngest but as he was three weeks early she didn't receive the letter about having the antibiotics in labour until a few weeks after he was born.

I was told i`d had to have them in labour with DD3, but for whatever reason they didnt give them to me. Baby was on 24 hours and developed a high temp and rash in that time so she ended up with a canula and antibiotics :( This time tho, at a different hosp and they have said i will def have the drip myself. We shall see if they do or not, i will be telling them i want it tho! As much as i dont want a drip in, rather me than having my baby taken away at 3am whilst i was asleep and waking to her gone from next to me! That was a horrible experience.

Anyway, hope ur well Emsbet, and hope u get home from hosp soon Mozzy, u`ll be able to sleep alot better xx
