    Hi!!

    Charlie was born 17th February, 3:20am, 7.8lbs.
Was a short, but traumatic birth. 1st stage labour was 5hrs 10min, 2nd stage 25min, 3rd stage 10min. I found the pain quite unbearable, and no where else but my lower back. The pain relief was very slow to come to me. I went from 4-10cm dilated in an hour. Then they were worried about baby so had to start pushing sooner than planned, suction cups were used.

An experience I wish to forget, but the result is my beautiful baby boy!!!

Awwww congratulations on little Charlie sweetheart. Cant wait to see pics of him xxxx

Was just wondering what happens at a midwife appt when you're overdue? I'm due my next appt on thurs when I'll be 40 + 3 days. Would I be offered a sweep then,or date for induction? Thanks x:)

Here my midwife wont do a sweep until 40+7, and said the earliest she will ever offer one is 40+5, my app would be 40+8 :(

Ah yay, congrats Mozzy!!!! Love the name Charlie too :):D

Hi all, I (after a rather traumatic birth£ am proud to announce the safe arrival of William, weighing 7lb 1oz at 10.35pm on 15/2/12.

After 28 hrs of early labour and 20 of established we had an emergency c section which I was devastated about but am so in love with my baby boy that I can come to terms with what happened.

I will post my birth story soon. Going to read back and catch up
