Hello ladies - congrats on all new babies, nice to finally have some Feb babies!
I do hope Mozzy is ok, can't wait to hear news
Goodness me I am so bored today - there feels like nothing to do (or at least nothing I want to do), and we are skint until pay day next week so stuck in. Just do you know what it's like when you get so fed up, you end up being miserable! lol
Might go start packing the babies hospital bag, will give me an idea then what sort of room I have! Only 5/6weeks to go - not too early is it?
Oh and for those that have been listening to my moans about gestational diabetes. I had to double my tablets this week, and low and behold for now, it seems to be working, bloods sugars have come down loads and are sitting in a good and healthy range. Have another all round everything appointment on Monday - Normal Consultant, Scan, Diabetes Consultant, Diabetes Nurse and Midwife. So will get to see if my little monkey is still growing like a gorilla or if she has slowed down, and hopefully it will keep the insulin injections at bay for at least another week!!!! x xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0 -
Hi all
My daughter is now 39 weeks pregnant, due on tuesday 21st. Last night she had shooting pains all around her bump, starting from the bottom to her chest and was sick. She said the baby is active and was all night so is this normal?0 -
Sounds like braxton hicks to me... Perfectly normal. Id ring the midwife anyway. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

She said it's worse then the braxton hicks she's been getting and really hurt, but i've reassured her that if little one is active then don't worry. She has another midwife appointment on Monday so will mention it to them then but if she gets the same thing today i'll ask her to phone her midwife just to reassure her.0

They could just be getting more painful as shes getting closer to her due date. If baby is moving and her weekly urine/bp checks are ok, I think it'd be ok, and just her body preparing for labour. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Thanks Gilly x0

Plus because I am bored, I want to eat, and all I want is cake and choc which I am not allowed because of the diabetes - ho hum!!!! x xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0 -
Thanks Lucy, i know your due the same day, I've been lurking on here everyday following everyones progression
Pity you don't live near us because she doesn't know anyone who is pregnant that she can hang around with because all her mates are either working or back at college/uni. I told her to go to the mother and toddler meetings were she may get to know other mums.
