Congrats Keza, try not to worry that things didn't go as planned, your little one got here safely, that's the main thing!

I've just been to town, wanted a couple of nighties for the hospital. i'd like a strappy vest type one for labouring and then one with a button down front for after. have read loads of times on here that ladies have found good ones in primark so went there......not a single nightie to be found! Only pyjamas. I think matalan probably have what I want going by what they have online so I'll have to have a trip there sometime. I did manage to get a couple of knitting patterns and some buttons, oh and a yummy subway for lunch so it wasn't a wasted trip!

If it helps I got my button down nighties in matalan. They aren't too frumpy either lol x

Have walked to the retail park today, and cleaned the bathroom.....still not a niggle!! Cant complain as still 10 days til EDD, however i will complain as i dont want to go over again! I know how i`ll be feeling come the 27th if this baby isnt here!!!!!

Thanks for the MC code Laura, will have a go tonight as I wanted to get those nighties myself! I did get a nice button down nightie from Matalan but returned it as I'm very tall and it was very short, not ideal for the hospital but worth a try if you're not a 6 footer!

My enduring memory of my only ever trip into hospital is of coming round from having my wisdom teeth removed and having forgotten my nightie so I had a hospital gown which fastened at the back, promptly came undone and I flashed my bottom to everyone on the ward as I went to the loo, I MUST make a hospital bag list so I don't forget this time!

I got a pack of 2 strappy nighties from asda for about 8 quid I think it was, in tshirty material. I just bought a size or two bigger than my usual. Then I bought a red checked shirt style button nightie there too, which I ended up going home in with my jeans underneath, and still wear as a handy layer to tuck baby under when feeding in public
