  • Thank you!! I honestly had no idea there was such a difference in them all!! Just thought I'd have things that fit!!
I love MSE!! Theres always someone that knows!! :D

no problem, there is quite a big difference in sizing from the different shops, before you know it baby will be in newborn everywere, between 6 and 7lb is hard work because its not quite prem but not quite newborn.

Even within shops - I've got some M+S babygros that are 0-3 size and they're massive, and yet some vests from the same shop... smaller than lots of newborn stuff! Primark seem good if you're having baby orang-utans - tiny in the boddy, massive in the legs (so will probably fit my offspring since their father has legs everywhere)... Tesco/Asda I found middly of the road size-wise, Mothercare seems to come up smallish - but have a lot of newborn sized stuff from there from grandmas who seem to be living in the place.

Right, finished pork pie for lunch, then decided to sort out the chicken I cooked and nearly burned the other day, so half is now cooling down to become 'chicken in jelly' (not sure how to describe it properly, my mum used to make it) and half is in the rest of the stock in the fridge, maybe for risotto. Decided to clear some space in the freezer, so put all the frozen fruits I had in the slow cooker and I am attempting to make jam in the slow cooker - first time, so will see how it goes.

Then decided that I still want some food, so made myself some semolina... Third day in a row.... I couldn't eat it much before pregnancy, as it just used to make my stomach a bit upset, even though I like it, but it seems to be ok now, so I am helping myself to it.

Out the washing outside, and an later it started raining.... Still is - it is more of a spray/drizzle, but no good for washing to dry out!!!!

Now, how do I get on to actually doing some work?....

My Seb was 6lb13, and dropped a little after birth. I had a range of second hand premie clothes which were to small and mothercare newborn clothes were way too big, the vest fitted better but the baby grow was massive. H&M 0-1 were too big too. We then bought asda newborn vest and suits and they fitted the best. Seb is back to his birth weight and he is starting to fill out the asda newborns nicely, at the current rate of growth, I think they will last another couple of weeks.

I bought 12 asda vests and 8 bodysuits, but Seb is not sickly and only needs changing when DH doesnt put the nappy on properly. Hope that helps as I found it really difficult to figure out how many I would need.

Good luck to Mozzy, keza and floaty, congratulations Sitting!
