I am 48th based on the EDD, but I know I won't get to that, so just wondering how many I will jump over... hope not too many!!!!!

Feeling really uncomfortable - had to get out of bed as woke up with the worst back pain in ages, and now sitting on the sofa feel like I am all squashed and can't breath much. My bump was hurting again last evening and during the night...

I am slowly comming to terms with the prospect of going full term. dependent on my gtt results anyway. your not allowed to que jump over my name. i will cry lol

re the pain: ohh tell me about it my leg pain has been getting worse and worse but the consultant gave me some painkillers and has refered me to physio so hopefully that will help. the painkiller are helping bt i havent been taking them as often as i should.
  • Awww hugs to all those in pain and a huge congrats to sitting.

Does anybody else get severe shooting leg pain that makes their leg give way. Is it just baby on my nerves?

Emotional and fed up today :( 6 weeks today I am due. 3 weeks after this week to work. I can't stop eating and feel massive so feeling sorry for myself.

    Hope you are all well.

Sorry, I will be 35 weeks on your EDD, so really can't promise not to queue jump you!!! I hope I won't, but you never know. Those two little things inside me may decide they had enough of being inside me! I would be over the moon to get to 37 weeks, but I am not going to hold my breath.

Paracetamol does nothing for me. I have god codeine, I think, but a few times I tried it it really made no difference, so I am avoiding it as well. I have now moved from the sofa to the dining table (really don't want to go upstairs to the study), will see how long I will last here...

Hi everyone, sorry for going a bit awol. Haven't had time to read back yet, but I hope you're all doing well and we have some new arrivals.

My blood pressure was back up at the weekly midwife check on Tuesday to 138/108, so after checking it again 10 mins later she sent me to hospital. The ante-natal day unit kept me for 3 1/2 hours and did regular monitoring, and quite frankly the bp was all over the shop. The 138/108 was the highest thankfully, but it also got down to 120/80 at one point which is unheard of for me. So they're bringing me back to see the consultant on Monday as they're concerned the tablets aren't controlling the bp very well, but they won't up the dose on these ones anyway as it's already very high. On the plus side all the urine and blood tests were fine so no pre-e worries atm.

We picked up our buggy last weekend :D We got a second hand i-candy peach on ebay, and it's in fantastic condition. It cost us £367, saving us about £500 and apart from a few scuffs on the wheels this thing could be brand new, so I'm pleased as punch to have the buggy I wanted without breaking the bank.

its co deine they gave me. they have been helping and hopefully will continue to work as long as it dosent get worse.

Glad you like the buggy :)

Hope they manage to stabilise your blood pressure, I have the opposite and mine is very very low.....can't win can we lol.

mozzy - woohoo its finally here!! :D good luck today hope you have a birth like sitting, you both definatley deserve it. will be thinking of you today and look forward to your baby news. xx

i passed out again yesterday , luckily ds1 knows how to get to my mums number on myphone and rang her but i was only out for a min max, still scared the boys though which upset me the most. :(
my mum came round for the rest of the day until dp got back from work so at least i didnt have to be on my own after it happening. got 36 week midwife appointment today so will mention it to her, i had just had some sugar free 7-up so dont know if it had anything to do with that? boys are off to my cousins whilst i have my midwife appointment and then she is going to bring them home and sit with me till dp finishes work again!!! OBEM was good last night, i have alot of admiration for the lady who gave birth to the twins, i thought she deserved a medal!!! :T

  • congratulations sitting, re the premmie clothes. at 6lb 6 they might be a bit small hun, i would go for either early baby (mothercare) or newborn in asda because they are a little bit smaller than the other supermarkets. if you want premmie clothes then i would suggest ebay to be honest because they will only fit until baby is 7lb.

Thank you!! I honestly had no idea there was such a difference in them all!! Just thought I'd have things that fit!!
I love MSE!! Theres always someone that knows!! :D
