  • Laura - I know exactly what you mean. This is my third pregnancy, and I still get times when I get a bit panicky and think that the baby may actually be having a fit!!

I cant even imagine what they are doing in there.. pretending they are on a spin cycle in a washing machine maybe lol!!!!

    morning ladies,

lucy - hope you get your boiler sorted must be a nightmare. xx

emmylou - hope you get your washing machine sorted too, especially now kids are off school, that always makes my washing mount up!! xx

went out all day yesterday looking for wardrobes and bedside cabinets for our bedroom, finally bought a nice big 4 door wardrobe with shelves at the top and bottom and 2 matching bed side cabinets. :) have to wait for them to be delivered to the store in 10 to 14 working days. Dp now has the mission of decorating and re carpeting our bedroom next weekend then as soon as our wardrobes are delivered he can build them. :D i bought new curtains, bed covers, table lamps and canvas pic for the bedroom too so can wait to start my interior designing!! so excited about getting it all done now as all my baby bits are just piled up in the corner of our room and our clothes are hanging on collapsable hanging rails so wil be nice to finally have a proper bedroom again!!
hope everyone had a good weekend. xxx

Have started a count down chart (discreetly!) on my wall at work, I love my job but at the moment it's just too darned tiring, I'm very much looking forward to putting my feet up tonight!

Thought don't tell the midwife was so sad last night, not much midwifery action though was there?!

Labour vibes to all you boldies and soon to be boldies, cannot imagine how exciting it must be :D

Laura, I get the baby spin cycle too, at first I thought hiccups, but they're definately identifiable as those, I guess if others have it its nothing to worry about!

Antenatal class Friday was fab, I really liked the teacher, she's very approachable and even DH enjoyed it, lovely small class, just 4 couples, looking forward to seeing them this week which is a good sign!

God, not done that in a while :p

Meant to say ladies, Tommee Tippee Breast Pads, are by far the best I've tried since having Aaron. They're not the cheapest but by far the most absorbent (in my opinion anyway) and have had no leaks at all with them.

Funnily enough, I didn't get on with them, i've got half a box sitting on the side and went out for some Asda ones instead. Must be a body shape thing?

  • I'm glad I'm not the only one that has strange baby movements then :rotfl:I googled it and some people have said it is the uterus going in to spasm - makes sence I guess.

Glad you enjoyed your antenatal class Amy, we start ours a week friday (just NHS ones)

Emmylou, have you tried online shopping for groceries? I quite often do it (mostly to get the first order discounts!!) I have used every single online company and I would rate Ocado and Waitrose amoung the best - and they have fab discounts for new customers (posted on MSE and Hotukdeals)

Feeling a bit sick at the moment and tummy seems a bit strange - hope I haven't picked a bug up :(

Has anyone been to the Mothercare expectant parent events? There is one at my local store next wednesday that I was thinking about dragging OH to after work and wondered if they are worth it?

Thanks Sammie, i have ordered a new washing machine, will be here by the 28th!!! Thats 2 weeks with no machine and it *should* be here the day after my due date....hmm.....lol!
I HATE shopping with all 3 DDs, they constantly "i want" and be silly. Not naughty, they dont run off or trash the shop, just drive me nuts!
Have just managed to sell the Britax Strider i had with DD3 for £25, so thats going into the washing machine fund pot lol. x
