I am so scared of having a boy its unreal! I`ve heard alsorts of ideas to stop them peeing on me tho... open nappy and put a wet wipe there, or a flannel, then close again for a few seconds lol! Get Dh to do nappy changes....
Wear an apron everytime, or cover urself with a towel. I`m lucky in that the girls never ever went when i changed their bums, only when Daddy did it, and it wasnt wee, it was poo hahaha! x

Evening ladies. Can't believe we still haven't had a baby in Feb!
HAd a lovely afternoon with SnoopyTweety and both our DHs looking around the hospital wards and then having lunch. It ended up ok but started with me in hormonal tears for an hour after DH decided he wasn't up to going for lunch as he has man flu! So we turned up at the hospital with the intention of doing the tour and then going home and the first thing he says when we'd met up with Mr&Mrs Snoopy was 'we can go for lunch if you like'. I could have swung for him lol!
He's been laid on the sofa since we got back, wrapped in a blanket and giving a feeble cough every few seconds. Why are men so pathetic?! ANyway, I have mini eggs so I don't care lol!0 -
OH said tonight he's taking the night off from giving me my 10min back massage. I said oh, wish I could take a night off from being pregnant!

My DD was 11 days early and I'm hoping this one will follow suit. Can't believe am only 22+3 but am retaining so much water already - even wellies are painfully tight on my calves grrr...0 -

I'm not doing too bad, but if i'm honest, its a lot harder than I thought it would be. I'm starting to worry that if its this bad now then how will I cope in the next 8 weeks or so? I also think I got a bit complacent because everything had been soo smooth up until now and I thought it would continue. The fact that walking is a problem troubles me the most to be honest cos I feel like i'm losing my independence a little.
I'm lucky that I haven't really had any heartburn yet but it wouldn't surprise me if that is around the corner.
I'm really please that things are still going better than you expected. Every day counts right?0 -
Dashkii - I can't believe you are planning to work till April!!! I am 23 weeks on Monday, and I am not sure I will last till April - when I said I will finish work (taking all annual leave and starting maternity leave at 36 weeks). I also read about having the hospital bag ready at 28 weeks, and it is scary. I haven't even looked at what is needed yet. But I have got a light robe from Next sale that someone posted here - it is actually quite nice, and I have got matching pyjama with it as well, and I am wearing it all now!
Yeh I know, I think I was a bit ambitious with my proposed maternity leave. However, my logic was that I'd rather spend time with the babies when they come rather than sitting at home twiddling my thumbs. It also works better for us financially too.
I got a couple of nighties from primark today for my hospital bag. I'm quite happy to bin them afterwards. Still need a dressing gown and I missed out on that next one during the sale. I'm aiming to pack one pair of jogging bottoms but the rest will be nighties for "ease of access" :rotfl:
Oh, and my belly has grown again today!0 -
Hi girls, long time lurker in all the pregnancy threads but its about time I joined in. I'm 26 weeks exactly today, due on May 20th and staying team yellow. Would be grateful if someone would add me to the list0
