Won't be long now Sitting enjoy the time while you can, because they cannot go back. At times I've felt like trying, believe me :rotfl:

Time does fly, my wee monster was 2 weeks yesterday, can't believe it, fastest 2 weeks of my life and I know it'l probably just continue.

And I bet it feels like you've had Aaron forever. I remember feeling like that when I had Ben :)

Mozzy and Sitting, I feel really bad for you both, (and other boldies) but I'm so relieved not to be pregnant any more. I hope you time comes very soon, so you can feel comfortable again. Hugs and vibes!

Birthing partners, I would take someone with you, just to reinforce your wishes. I would choose a friend who can make you laugh but step up when needed.

On the couple of days before Seb was born, my eating habits changed, to high fat stuff like chip butties (3 days in a row) chocolate and nuts. I also slept better and longer. I did feel like I was ready to hibernate.

I had increasingly painful braxton hicks, for around 6 hours before my waters broke. I only had a few dozen real contractions in my opinion which were substantially more painful after my waters broke. In my experience I think once you have had your first couple of real ones you can tell the difference. Luckily for me my pains slowed down for me after my waters broke as Seb turned breech again that morning and I Really didn't want a natural breech birth. 11 hours later with decreasing contractions and no dilation I had a csection.

When my waters broke, it felt like Seb was stamping his foot on a water balloon in my vagina for about 20 seconds, then I felt a pop, when I stood up to make sure I didn't wet the couch, they gushed through my nighttime sanitary pad, I waddled to the bathroom and gushed more all the way there and in the toilet for a few minutes. I continued to leak until the csection, but not too much after the initial 10 mins. For a week or so before I had been increasingly damp down below when sleeping, which I wondered if they were my waters at the time but it was just excess heat and discharge. They smell different and my waters had a pinkish colour on the pad.

Csection, my DH had given my lady garden a bit of a poor trim, but when they did the emergency section they didn't shave me, I have hair very very close to my scar. I figure they don't care, they see alsort, but if you are as clean as you can be they will be greatful.

What a day :( washing machine is broken, and not worth fixing! All we need 2 weeks b4 baby is due, and having only paid for the dishwasher 2 weeks ago! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like i`ll be spending my half term sat in the laundrette with the kids!!

Just waiting for my roast chicken to cook, yum yum! Only had 2 snickers so far, so will be on the chocolate later ;)

Come on sitting and mozzy! My midwife told me i wont even be booked for induction unitl +14, which by my dates is +18 !!!! Gonna have to argue that point i think! Seriously thinking about demanding to see a consultant or something if they do make me wait til +14, i am in agony, cant walk/sit/roll over in bed without wanting to burst into tears from the pain.

At least you get an induction at +14 emmylou, my midwife said I wouldn't even get a sweep until I was two weeks over! So I'm very glad Amelia decided to come on her own!

Would agree with Carmilla, the days leading up to labour for me, I was sleeping 12-14 hours, and then napping during the day

I`m really suprised at that, as previous midwives have always told me that after 14 days there is a risk to baby with placenta starting to fail??? I know up here they will leave u until 16 days, but no later! My last placenta wasnt great at just 3 days over :/

I`ve decided now that baby cant come until i have a new washing machine! Which will be a few weeks :( x
