I could never have given birth on my own, especially being at the hospital almost 24 hours (and in labour 48) before he made an appearance. Ended up being me, OH and my MIL  as after such a long time, me and OH didn't feel we could even speak or make decisions any more through tiredness, so OH asked if I'd mind his mum being there and by that point I didn't care :o

Lucy - Parking is £6 for 24hrs. Get a ticket as usual, and once you've been admitted, you can get a £6 ticket from them.

I missed Jonathan Ross tonight Mozzy and Take me Out :( Enjoy the tv while you can. I may watch it on catch up tomorrow, although it's OH's first day back at work  dreading it is an under statement :o

  • Take Me Out was ok. Less awkward than last week, lol.

With regards to waters breaking, I had them broke with DD and this time, I often wondered if I'd know if they've gone.

This time, they woke me up as they broke. There was a sharp pain, then a trickle, then as I stood up, they properly went. I soaked through 3 maternity pads in about 10minutes. And more water came out too when he did. So glad I wasn't out in public when it happened. Next time, I won't be worrying whether or not they've gone, I'm certain I'll know after that.

    Hope everyone else is well.

my waters have been trickling slowly for weeks now. dependent on what midwife or consultant i get depends on how much they panic. generally the rule is once waters are broken you should deliver within 24 hrs but they are back waters and its been the same for all of my kids.i think the general concensus is its just srm and there not actually gone there just trickling out.

when it hurts...alot i have to go in, aparently it could be anything from a day to 3 months so we will see, they will probly panic when i go for my scan, keep me for a few hrs then send me home again armed with a chemist full of tablets
