Can any of you lovely ladies tell me if you can use hair removal cream on your nether regions when pregnant?DS1 born June 2000

Happy I read ur not supposed to use it when preg at all as its absorbed into the skin?? Not sure how true that is, and personally, since i`ve been unable to see it, its been left alone eek! Will get DH to give it a trim maybe next week.....I figure as long as its clean, midwife wont mind!! x
Thats terrible SV, hope u get to see nicer people thru out the rest of ur pregnancy! x
Gilly, just take them in a carrier bag, and go straight to customer services, they wont accuse u of stealing them, esp if the security guard is at the door they`ll see u go in anyway.Mummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,
and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T0 -
Thanks emmylou. I'm just wondering what to do with it and don't have anyone to help me out. Don't want to start off and end up looking like I've been hacked at with a razor blade!!DS1 born June 2000

I haven't shaved my legs since I was 36 weeks pregnant, had Aaron at 38 and now I don't think I'll have time to shave them again :rotfl: I wasn't as tidy as I'd have liked when I went into labour, but I didn't think I would have went early

i guess u could go down the waxing route, altho thats supposed to be more painful than normal when preg!!!! like i said, as long as its clean, i doubt very much ur midwife will give a wotsit! In the Call the midwife book i just finished, she says at the back that they USED to shave the perineum area, but its no longer needed/advised. So cant be a prob if it is a hairy mess! If u had to have a c-section, they`d do it for u anyway
Who is going to be with u when u have baby Happy? xx Mummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,

Todays message on my babycentre app on my phone says:
Congratulations, after months of anticipation, your beautiful baby has finally arrived
Really?? Where??
Been minding him for you, he is slightly used, very thirsty on fuel, a good runner but there is an unpleasant smell from the undercarriage ...:eek:0 -
Lmao, May is obviously a quiet month for DTD! Altho that does surprise me this yr as the Royal wedding was last yr, and if people were drinking/bank hols away etc, u`d think the start of Feb woulda been quite busy!!! x
... Errm think we scored around the royal wedding
:rotfl: I thought there would have been a baby boom too ! 0 -

Emmylou - I don't really know who is going to be with me at the birth. My mum has offered but she can be a bit of a nightmare so not sure that's a good idea. I'm quite happy to do it alone but my dad is very against the idea and thinks I should have someone with me. Thr midwife keeps asking me aswell and I just haven't a clue what to do. Do you think it is a bad idea to go it alone?DS1 born June 2000
