It's so weird to think today is my due date, according to my notes (I thought it was the 6th all along :rotfl: ) but my baby is a week and a half old :eek: Crazy!

Hi just back from check up. Everything is fine but theres a slight trace of protien in urine. BP was fine tho. Dr wants me to drop another sample in to re test. Is it common to have at this late stage and is it anything to worry about? Must admit to having a slight nightmare getting a sample this morning. Only got a slight dribble of urine,so had a bath,then tried again and got a tiny bit more urine in same pot. Not sure whether I should have done this and maybe contaminated the previous sample,but I only had one sample pot at home. I was also running late and was probably a little dehydrated too,as urine was a little dark.

Lucy I was told to always take a mid stream sample...but if you had no stream that was gonna be difficult!! :rotfl: Think its because there will always be a little protein in the first bit. Just make sure you go a good'un next time haha x

Yeah, midwifes coming for a home visit to do a sweep on Friday (would like to avoid that but its getting closer!!) Then she said she would book an induction for a week friday...gonna see if she would do it earlier than that..don't wanna wait another 7 days

fingers crossed things get moving for you by friday then.

apparently i have 39 days until my due date!! but why does that still seem a lifetime away!! i can still feel baby is transverse too so im really hoping s/he decides to move its lazy bum in the right direction soon!! think we are going to go out on sunday and buy the moses basket mattress :j then i need to pin dp down to decorate our bedroom so i can start planning how to get this little bundle of joy out of me!!! :cool:

I found the last few weeks flew by...its now that it's dragging!!!

apparently if you ask my ds1 its as easy as a man putting his hand up there and pulling it out!!
he also thinks you get pregnant by someone weeing inside your bum for a boy or your front bum for a girl!! :eek: i dont know where he gets it from!!
