Dizzi, have you tried a support belt? I bought one from Mothercare after having no sleep this weekend due to pain and it has worked wonders. I wear it during the day and take it off when I go to bed. Might be worth a try, only £12 if it doesnt work.

I have a bit of a personal question for any ladies that are willing to answer; after my bleeding I checked where my cervix was and found it is literally just inside, maybe a finger tip away from the opening. Has anyone else checked the position of theirs, I just wondered if it is normal for it to be that low or if its my low cervix that is causing me problems? I am going to see my MW on Monday because of the bleed so will get her to check but was just curious to know where everyone elses were as I thought they were usually quite high up?

Because of my size none of the support belts in the shops quite fit me (they seem to go to about an 18 and I'm a 22/24).

As for where my cervix is - not sticking my fingers up there to find out - if I scratched it and made it bleed I'd totally freak out in terror!

Well midwife appointment was only an hour late, grrrr. But all good with baby. She's offered me a sweep next Thursday if I'm still waiting. The tips were eat anything that will get bowels working. I don't do curry, so she said black cherries or pineapple. I love pineapple. Keep active, bounce on the ball, and of course, sex.

Pineapple and bouncing it is then! Haha

On a different note. If anyone is after new towels, mine just arrived and they great. Tesco have got 50% off. I got twin pack bath sheets for £9, marked down from £18. They nice and big and heavy. Just popped them in the wash now :)

Do you see Sarah at the Lansdowne? She's always running late grrrr LOL. Glad appointment went well tho.
Just had an hour's nap, which I needed. Now need to run hoover round and clean the bathroom.

Here, I stopped in Tesco's last night, got the cuddle robes (towels) - 2 for £3.75, they feel so soft! And the muslin squares - 6 for £2.32, thought it was a good price, so got two packs... These are my first muslin squares, they are plain white. I am not sure hoe many do I actually need? I was going to look through my Tesco baby club vouchers and see if there is anything else worth using up, if they have not expired yet.

Glad you found them ok, I've got 18 of them, they're hanging off half the radiators in the house. :D Think their baby event might end on the 6th, so if you decide you want more, I'd go by then?

I'm another that hasn't got a clue where my cervix is either!! I would definatley mention it to the midwife though just to put your mind at rest if nothing else. Do you know if your cervix was low before pregnancy?

Ginvzt - thank you I will go to sainsburys tomorrow and puck up a couple of boxes.
