Glad you're feeling a bit better. I'm the day after you, and feeling really uncomfortable at the moment. I can't stand having anything over my belly, and my bump just feels huge at the moment. I've got my midwife appointment tomorrow for my 40week check up. I'm 40weeks on Saturday - due date. So will see what she recommends. I also keep hoping no intervention is needed and that he comes along naturally very soon. This week would be good!!

Get those curtains closed and go for it then mozzy..we'll not tell :rotfl:. Told my midwife I didn't want to see her again unless she was coming to see me and baby after we got out of hospital...she took it quite well lol. She just seemed to agree that a good bit of walking and bouncing will do the trick getting things moving in the right direction. We've not got long now

Nervous and excited, but mostly definitely ready!!! I'm over pregnancy now haha!

Right, that settles is, i'm non stop bouncing now. Walking has become a bit of a mission, but bounce I can do!! Lets hope any day for us now Sitting!!! Good luck, keep us posted on your progress!!

I will if I remember!! It's taken me this long to start posting proper...so don't hold out too much hope I hope the ball thing really does work....or else I'm just looking like Tigger!! Gonna try a wander round the park tommorrow it will be a mission but it might work too!! Felt a lot of pressure when walking to midwife and back so I'm determined I'm gonna make him uncomfortable in there :rotfl:

I feel loads of pressure the minute I stand up. He's definitely right down there now. I feel that when I sit down, I need to put my hands under my belly and hold it up haha.

If we don't hear from you, good luck!! I'm getting bored being on maternity leave now, so am on here all the time haha

I'm always on here reading...just forget to sign in and talk!! Thankfully I was carrying a bit of extra flab before I got preggers so am used to carrying the extra bit without the lifting :rotfl:. I will defo get back on here if anything happens....will need they advice!!

I walked about three miles the day before I went into labour, plus was sitting on my ball lots too. Good luck both of you, hope you're not waiting too much longer!

Sebastian was born via c section at 12.15pm on the 31st January weighing 6lb 13oz and 50cm long. He looks pretty perfect and cute, and I'm really happy he arrived safely and quickly!
My waters gushed approximately 12 hours before his arrival, he had returned to breech earlier that same morning, but as I didn't dialate they gave me a section without much persuasion. My PGP and previous reduced mobility has made recovery more of a challenge, but it is still early days. Breastfeeding has been tough going, as I've had to supplement with formula, but I'm still hoping for breastfeeding to be the longer term goal. Having a real live baby still feels a little weird, but he is really lovely and I use any excuse for some skin to skin contact.

Congrats Redhead, labour vibes to boldies, hang in there Mozzy, and hugs to everyone who needs them!

Congratulations Carmilla! That's fantastic news! Enjoy your mummy cuddles, and wish you a speedy recovery :j
