Emmylou - the cake looks fab, I hope your not going to let you dh try any after his comment!! (I'll have his slice!! )

Yay dp picked up the Moses basket straight after work so it's now got pride of place on my sofa!! Ds2 doesn't seen that interested but I think that's because he is a little jealous so doesn't like to acknowledge the baby to much!! I think he would send it back if he could!!!

Aren't the different midwifes confusing, you see mine was very helpful on the subject and gave the same advice as I posted above pretty much, 1 a day etc from 32 to 34 weeks and so on and so on.

She said if nothing else it will help soften up the muscles and potentially make the process gentler.

She also said it wasn't right that they could bring on prem labour.

I am even more confused now, but anything that might help with the delivery lol x

rlt can cause premature labour, the same as reasbery leaf can (as in buying it in leaf form and crushing it into food) how do i know? well when my babies were born i felt so guilty that i researched extensivley what i could have done that nearly killed my babies.

cold knife when your dong the final flatten, depends on the icing your using hun.

i got my carvery in the end, i am so stuffed and i had it at 2 o clock. i brought home some desert its called this is how we rolo, its a huge slice of cake with chocolate icing and rolos melted in then theres rolos on top, im dying to tuck into it but im still too full from lunch.

Well this not lurking malarky hasn't been going too well for me!! Check in everyday, but forget to say hello!!
Can't believe I'm next on the list after the boldies..been trying to get this little dude moving all weekend. Curry, hot pizza, bouncing on ball every opportunity, but no signs yet! (I like to think something might work!! otherwise I'm gonna go mad!! :rotfl:)

BTW Emmy that cake is awesome!! I think your OH is just a bit jealous of your skills!!

Emmylou, the cake is amazing!

I am mad. The tossed that bought the fish tank said he will collect it during the weekend. Yesterday we called him and he wanted to come after 5pm today, we asked him to come after 6pm. I left work early to make sure I can empty some water, OH cut his work short, and that is already after 1 hour overtime. I sent him a text earlier asking to confirm if he is coming, called 5 times, he wouldn't pick or be on another call. Finally managed to get him 20 min earlier. Now he said he will be in 2 hours, so 10pm!!! We both have to go to work tomorrow, the tank is now empty, so all the good bacteria will be dead by the time he collects it and gets home, probably even the plants won't survive anymore. I just hope he shows up by 10pm and not later! I will take him ome time to load up as well. Hope his car is big enough as well, we did try to tell him it is big, but he wasn't interested in anythin we were go tell him.

Sorry,just mad. And it looks like you can't leave the negative feedback for buyers on eBay anymore!

Gin- re heartburn my mw just said avoid acidic food, so would limit citrus etc chocolate, vegetables made it worse too. It's difficult as everyone different, would try and do a food diary to see which foods are worse. Also mw said better to have more frequent small meals rather than bigger ones.
See told you everyone's different !!!

My midwife suggested that having sex can be a good way of inducing labour when you're close to your due date

what a nightmare, i would refuse to leave feedback. ten o clock takes the pee. if you leave an inch of water in the bottom and put the media pads inside it shouldnt die just yet..hopefully
