My midwife refused to be helpful with the raspberry leaf tabs question - all she could say was they arent allowed to recommend or say dont anymore. All she can say is if your going to take them dont start til 37 weeks as they could induce prem labour?!

Aren't the different midwifes confusing, you see mine was very helpful on the subject and gave the same advice as I posted above pretty much, 1 a day etc from 32 to 34 weeks and so on and so on.

She said if nothing else it will help soften up the muscles and potentially make the process gentler.

She also said it wasn't right that they could bring on prem labour.

I am even more confused now, but anything that might help with the delivery lol x

My gtt drink was a warm flat sugary syruppy coke drink - 330mls of it or 300mls cant remember. Think a bottle of panda pop or rolla cola. Sipping it - its got to be drank within 5 or 10mins I think. The nurse doing mine told me to sit still as walking around could alter the results.
Mine went up a whole .4 from the start blood test to the end blood test lol

LOL snoopy it makes me laugh because sometimes I actually walk out of my midwife appointment more confused than when I went in. She seems a bit useless sometimes. And gave me a lecture at the booking in because I hardly had any questions - babycentre is my chosen website for info truthfully, and told me that not all websites are real and i should be dubious using them!? Then gives me completely duff information - she did say raspberry leaf tea would soften my cervix and if im induced would speed the process along. *Not sure shes with it truthfully* (Im planning on taking them from this week probably anyway.)

Ooo I keep wondering, when are you supposed to start on the raspberry leaf tea?

On another note, I keep getting sharp pains in my pelvis. Have had them for the last few days. Like a sort of stabbing pain at the front. It seems to come on in the afternoons and evenings. Does anyone else get this or is it just me being odd?!

Yes, i've been getting them on and off for months now. Rather painful. I end up squeezing my legs together whilst shouting the F word haha
