Twinkle - M&P do a 'gingerbread' one that has fold up sides to keep baby in... I love the idea but don't like the pictures... a bottle of pop and a hard boiled egg... random!:jBaby Boy born December 2012

Thanks dizsie. OMG...cannot believe how expensive these things are. I'm looking for value for money. Cheap, good quality and ideally not a million pounds! I'm properly in shock. Lots of colours too.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Ugh. Feeling slightly off colour and nose is back at supersensitive. Also been very hungry last two days - presume I've got a sudden growth spurt.0

Back from scan, all is well, no abnormalities showing and bubs weighs 2lb 9oz now
Got to go back in 6 weeks for a 34 week growth scan and to see if he's settled down a little because he is a fidget bum and doesn't stay still - which explains why my tummy looks like something from Alien. Had a long lecture about weight and got weighed and have lost another 2kg since last time. After my next scan they will discuss induction/c-section as they need to stop my medication in time, so very weird to think that in 6 weeks I could be finding out when I will be having bubs.
Kitten I'm glad your scan went well too and that mini_cub is a good weight
Twinklie we have the fisher price rainforest baby gym, think it was £47 in Tesco.
Welcome to all the newbies

Twinklie, I ordered this one cos I couldn't believe the price of baby gyms and the baby will only be using it for a few months!
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Infantino-150-786-506-152C-Wiggle-Travel/dp/B000MPLUY8
It's more of a "travel" gym so it comes in a plastic pouch and is a bit smaller than others I've seen but seems good to transport - ie to my mum's or wherever.
Have to say it doesn't feel too padded but you could always stick a blanket underneath. It's nice and colourful though!
Rebakah, sorry to hear baby didn't co-operate.
Kitten, glad your scan went well, must be reassuring for you.0 -
Sorry, just seen Amazon aren't stocking that travel gym any more but Boots are:

So glad your scans went well kitten and Ikkle :j
I have the bedtime hugs play gym. My mum paid for it though. Can't believe some people pay £50 for it! I thought £25 was dear! I was seriously thinking of making one out of garden cane!

It's amazing! The bear is so soft and squidgy, I think I will have it out and baby will be in the moses basket whilst I lie on the bear!
Congrats on the scans ikkle and Kitten. Eek my little one must be getting on for 4lbs now I reckon.0
