erm can one overdose on folic acid? i am still taking mine. I took my vit d pill now and then couldnt remember if had taken folic acid and not sure if had taken again!! my brain is so weird.

You can't od on folic acid Rups, your body just gets rid of what it doesn't need.

Hi ladies,

Thought it was about time to come out of lurkdom and introduce myself as I feel I know you all already it's getting a bit stalkerish. I'm 16 weeks today and my edd is boxing day :eek:

Pregnancy has not been easy for me so far but after ttc for 17 months I am very grateful. I've had bleeding all the way through and numerous scans and all is well with bubs, just me and my dodgy cervix. I've also had horrendous sickness since 6 weeks not been able to keep anything down at my worst and was hospitalised. Sickness is still going strong now which is depressing me as I was hoping to be able to go back to work soon as Im so bored and lonely. Been signed off since 8 weeks!

Oh just to add Ive got a private gender scam tonight, so excited I cannot wait!!!

hey bezzy, welcome here. your EDD is the SAME as mine! woo hoo!!! :0) good luck for your scan. I wish i could have more scans as i am now at that stage where want to keep seeing baby. hope your sickness vanishes soon though. i had nausea for 7-8 weeks throughtout and thankfully not being sick but now its come back and i just dont know what i fancy eating/drinking as feel yuck.

Hugs rebekah, I am sure you have been given lots of info already on stuff to try and get the baby to turn, Gemma mentioned walking on all fours, and at my antenatal class they said this was very good in these situations as is sitting on a birthing ball. They also told us not to sit cross legged - there were five us in the room that immediately uncrossed our legs That is my worst habit, so trying not to do that anymore! Hope things work out for you though.

My friend came round last night with a massive hamper of baby goodies! OH and I were blown away, it was so thoughful of her! We haven't opened it yet cos we're in the middle of renovating, but i will take a picture of it tonight and try to load it tomorrow - I know others have asked, but how do I post a picture?

Welcome BezzyKb:wave: I've added you to the list. Sorry you've had a rough time of it so far, hopefully things will get easier for you. I understand the boredom and loneliness, I was made redundant at 16 weeks and haven't been able to find another job, I'm now 31 weeks.

Rups, is your EDD boxing day too? For some reason I have Christmas eve on the list. I'll change it if it's wrong.

Missmonkeymoo, I'm terrible for crossing my legs, I still try to do it now even though it often hurts my hips . I can only cross them at the ankles now anyway as my thighs are too big to cross them any higher up! :rotfl:

oh gosh sorry emsbet it is christmas eve. ignore what i said above then. i am clearly not with it brain-wise. lol. EDD is 24th december. lol.
