My eldest has been sent home from school with suspected slapcheek, which is fair enough however she has already had it (you are only meant to get it once), by the time the rash comes out you have been infectious for at least 10 days prior and given that both her cheeks are rosy I am inclined to think that as she had been at school for only 20 mins before the honorary doctor/receptionist rang me up it was just a reaction from walking to school in the snow and freezing wind and then thawing out.

She has been excluded until she gets a doctors note to either prove it isnt slapcheek or confirm she isnt infectious and a risk to her pregnant teacher who sends children home left right and centre these days. I am all for protecting yourself but if you choose to work with kids you have to expect at some point your going to come across the plague, kids carry more diseases than a rabid stray dog fgs.

I feel ur skintness pain too Lovecrafting.....just been to Tesco, and filled the tank up, am now poor poor poor Did get another £5 off £40 spend for next week tho haha! I have topped up my xmas savers at tesco too, so far with that and clubcard points, i have almost £40 towards next xmas, yay me! With 4 kids, gonna need to be super organised this yr me thinks! Esp as have a wedding to go to in Sept which will cost us a small fortune!

Glad your little one has had a feed now Gilly. I only got offered paracetamol in hospital as well, and then not until quite a few hours after I'd had the stitches - though I was feeling so grotty anyway I really didn't notice or care!

tesco i am dreading, with the tax due this week and his medical thats going to be like 180 quid, then i need to go get some food at some point plus its my nephews birthday this week, im not sure how much were goin gto have left come payday, so much for saving for a bigger car, so far the car pot has 3 quid in it lol.

ohh just did my complaint about sat night/sun morning to the housing association, then i saw next door she gave me a right look so they have clearly phoned her.

I'm 29 weeks today and appear to be working my way up the list rather fast. I remember when I was slap bang on the bottom of it.
I literally can't stop eating. Going out for a carvery with my friend in a bit and have got my eyes on roast potatoes.
Does anybody have a suggestion of when I should get my hospital bag ready? I currently have no bag, let alone contents, but thinking maybe I should try and get organised.
