Do not worry u done the right thing!
The syringe thing was something I have heard of and is a good temp solution.
Just get as much help as you can to get yourself up and running. The advice we were given though only was for 24 hrs at a time.
Just don't be like me and get to day 5 and he's dropped too much. As then it's a strict routine of breast formula and pumping to build him up.
Though don't stress as it happens a lot most of my friends had this problem. Would keep note of feeds and nappies wet/poopy/colour.
Ask for help and just for info my milk came in late which did not help and could be down partly to epidural/drugs so be aware. You will know when it's in though as u will get the hormone tears. Gilly I found that the tiredness really knocks u so go easy on yourself.

Re pain relief !!!!!!!! Tbh though they gave me the stuff straight after birth but did not prescribe regular pain relief until dr came round and went mental when he looked at my notes as it shoul have been !!

DH has left for work already. He said I "snored" him awake lol. Apparently since getting to the later stages of pregnancy, I now snore! He said tonight he'll sleep in the nursery on the blow up bed. I really hope he does, I'm tired of him waking me up telling me I'm snoring Haha. At least this way, we can both sleep whilst we can!

Now time to try get back to sleep .......

Hello Mozzy !! I kept having to retune my posts as keep doing something that blinking deletes them *mad*

I had the mammoth snoring it only gets worse until u pop! Had a major melt down with hubby as he had decamped to 2nd bedroom and I was upset as wwas about to pop and did not want to wake up in labour and have to holler for him plus was frightened so he manned up and suffered in bed until I popped lol
I think he had about 5 days before I had meltdown probably hormone induced
Good luck with the sleeping u need to get what u can
Also he will have something much louder than snoring to contend with hubby now sleeps with at least 2 pillows over his head god knows how he does not suffocate !

Well my gorgeous boy finally had a small feed at the boob. Over the moon iv still not slept properly at all I dont even feel tired anymore.

I know im so happy, he's now sleeping on me so mummy cant sleep. I dont think i could ever be angry at him. Everytime he even sneezes or yawns i fall in love all over again.
