Were all your births that quick? My first was 12 hours and second was 6 hours so I'm hoping this one will be 3 hours!! :D
Happy birthday to Imogen tomorrow. Xx

I want apple pie and custard too now!! :o
    Xxx

Yup, straight onto the floor  it was also the sudent midwifes last supervised delivery (they have to do 40) and she went to cut the cord without clamping it......cue proper midwife screaming and going mad!! I was in shock so didnt realise until i was at home and my own midwife did a home visit and said she had heard what had happened! Apparently we could have both been in serious danger had she actually cut it.
And no, not all that fast, I wish! :rotfl: DD1 was 19 hours, DD2 was 5 hours, altho only 3 hours of regular contractions, and DD3 was 4 hours with only 2 and a half hours of regular contractions :T hoping for another one of those! Altho not too quick as with strep B i need the antibiotics to get in me a bit at least!

We had homemade cottage pie tonight :D was very very nice :)

Aww, thanks for all the birthday wishes for Imogen, she is in bed, all balloons blown up, 1 popped as i ws blowing it up so my lips r now stinging and baby was going mad for a bit! Banners up, pressies wrapped, and sweets for school friends are in a bag ready to grab in the morning :)

I know, I dont think people believe me half of the time tbh! Luckily baby was ok. I think/HOPE it was just as the midwife was just thinking it was her last supervised one and maybe panicked a bit? Rather than she was just incompetant! She was a brilliant midwife up until that point too!

Yeh I didnt realise until i was sat with the other preg mums at the nursery commitee meeting in the week there were books! I looked on Amazon and there are 4 by that author that all seem to follow on from each other, so going to get the set. I`ve got the OBEM book already and really enjoyed that :) xx
