Thanks Emsbet! Will have a look. Might end up just using my existing backpack (poor thing) - good tip from someone about the mat in the laptop section, that'd work well :)

    Morning all,how are you all?

hope everyone is ok today. sorry to hear that mrsexcited. that is so rude!

i ended up goingt o DHs gig last night. thankfully we werent there too long. I really strgulled with a gassy tummy the whole day and i was so restless at night. :( kept tossing and turning. PLus i had this bad calf pain in my leg all night too and its just about going now. is that common? Also have this weird butt cheek pain at times. i really cant eat big portions of meals like i used to as get full easily and very gassy. is anyone that gassy? at the scan they showed me areas of red which were gas and there it lots. :( meh

also last night on the way back, me and DH had an argument aboout the sex of the baby. wish we could agree on something. he says he respects my decision to find out the sex, yet he was trying his best to make me change my mind and keep it a surprise. i got so mad at him and then he got mad at me and said he was disappointed! talk about blackmail!!!:(

Rups have you tried Tums hun they are an antacid so good for heartburn but also getting rid of trapped wind. Get used to the not being able to eat big meals, the bigger bubs gets the more squashed your insides get lol. Try eating banana's to help with the calf pain.

MrsExcited thats very bad of them, have work got an alternative? x

Because they contain potassium hun, I'm not sure of the full science of it but I know potassium rich foods are supposed to help, some people recommend tonic water too but I think that stuffs vile lol x

With the Tums you can have 7 within a 24 hour period. x

    Heya!

I've just spoken to the recruitment agency on the phone. It turns out that the lady due to start today was offered a job for more money and fewer hours last night.

I don't blame her in the slightest.

But aaarrrgh! I've got less than 2 weeks left at work now and no one to cover me.

    I hope you're all well.

    xxxx
